I don't think there's any doubt that both are great phones. Each has different strengths and weaknesses, but for me the S7 camera and microphone are better.
Agreed. Anyone here who thinks Samsung is better needs to go to a photography class or get glasses.
No, I like the better detail, sharpness, and lighting on the Galaxy S7's camera. The colors are so similar, I would be very hesitant to call the Galaxy S7's pictures over saturated. Maybe slightly saturated at most.So you like the oversaturated look and not true colors. Of course people would like that it makes it pop. But people who have been into photography won't and know it's worse than the iPhone.
I thought the 7 Plus was going to have the best camera in it's class...
I am extremely disappointed and the microphone quality is terrible.
The 6S to 7 isn't a big jump like I thought.
Galaxy S8 will beat the iP8 before it even comes out in my opinion if apple keeps playing the greed game.
Omg dude it is very obvious in that video the iPhone is showing the actual colors and lighting vs the Samsung. His skin, lips, grass, all are blown out on the samsung and not the actual color, tone, or brightness. The iPhone 7 camera is really disappointing
See the video, iPhone 7 on the left, the s7 on the right. The s7 videos looks much sharper, and detailed
Everything what Apple had said on the keynote about the camera, was a lie !
Open your eyes. Maybe that will help. The iPhone 7 camera is really disappointing

I have a hard time believing this video. My Galaxy S7 Edge's rear camera is amazing and I'm extremely impressed with it, but the front facing camera is utter garbage. It's not even close to the quality this dude is claiming. My friend's is the same way.The iPhone 7 camera is really disappointing

We both have the Verizon models, so I'm not sure if there's possibly a hardware or software difference between the Verizon model and other Galaxy S7 Edges, but my iPhone SE takes better selfie pics than my Galaxy S7 Edge does.
He says at the very beginning of the video "in the selfie camera comparison."It's the rear camera not the front facing camera.
My bad. Didn't have my sound turned up quickly enough. He says at the very beginning of the video "in the selfie camera comparison."
I'm not going to argue about the front facing camera. It's crap on the Galaxy S7 Edge.My bad. Didn't have my sound turned up quickly enough.
Well, either way still looks like crap from the Samsung camera.
DSLR in your pocket? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA not even remotely close.Nice troll. iPhone 7 camera is truly stunning, DSLR in your pocket basically.
All the unprofessional youtube videos done by biased android owners.

How about one from a legit source.

So it's your contention that, not only is the S7 camera better, but the 7+ camera is so woeful that it cannot take adequate snaps of a toddler? The hyperbole is getting a little out of control in this thread. Whether one camera is a bit better than the other or not, both are astoundingly good for phone cameras.I really need a good pocketable camera as I have a 4 month old son. I'm keeping the 7 plus as I need to be in the Apple ecosystem but I'll have to pick up the note 7 when Samsung fix their issues.
But it is not even about that, the same thing could be said of a nice juicy 4x5 Velvia slide on the light table that was filtered with a 81B at sunrise at Horseshoe Bend through the superlative optical throughput of a Schneider 72mm XL.
Or using a warm polarizer on Flamenco dancers swirling around in Oxaca on an overcast day with a big biege stucco wall filling in the light, shot with a Nikon D810 set to vivid with a Zeiss Milvus 35mm F2.
I'll take the Samsung, I'll take the iPhone 7, as long as I know how it is tuned, the visual music will knock you flat on your a$$.

Stop trolling with the same link over and over and over. I don't need a news site to help me understand what I see with my own eyes. My family is 100% iPhone, but the S7 still owns it with respect to camera quality. I prefer iOS and I am hooked into the ecosystem. You need to get out of Steve's reality distortion field and come into reality. The S7 has a better camera - it isn't dramatically so, but it is better.

Cute baby!
Also the iPhone shot is quite grainy/noisy.
