Your screen shots were of the regular 8 not the 8 plus. You were already corrected on that multiple times. Sorry, but it has been proven on this forum in multiple topics that plus has more usable screen when reading anything. Wider is better not taller.
The 8 plus has more accurate colors. Again discussed in other topics. Please research.
The iPhone X has the same 375 horizontal points of logical resolution like the iPhone 8. In comparison, the iPhone 8 Plus has a higher 414 point logical resolution. This means app developers have more area to either add more elements or stretch them further apart. You also lose area on the X when the keyboard is open, as Apple added padding at the bottom presumably to prevent the keyboard from being placed too low. Lastly, in landscape mode too, the iPhone X offers a smaller viewable area than the iPhone 8 Plus, because of the narrower width.

[doublepost=1510507238][/doublepost]Another great link. Shows the size difference between the 8, 8 plus and X. Sorry, the X can't touch the 8 plus. There is a huge difference. The 8 plus fits all that info without making the font so small to fit it. You can't argue with the facts.

Thank you for your post. Although I thought that I was very satisfied with my X after moving from a 6 Plus and then a 7 Plus, I now realize the folly of my ways and will return the X. How could I have not known these things?
