I totally understand that argument but the exchange game is a total gamble. You can end up with the same display issues, worse display issues, loose buttons, scratches and other hardware faults...plus you have to go through all the backups & setting up multiple new phones.

My 'pressure point' is very minor and preferential when compared to yellow screens or uneven backlighting. However, if it is going to get worse or cause complete display failure somewhere down the line then that's a different matter.
I agree with your points, which is why when the replacement device arrives, and if it's in worse shape than the one I have right now, I'm just gonna tell Apple to take back the replacement and forget about it.

I don't see this pressure point on either of our 6s+ phones. The only thing I have seen on both of our phones is a ripple effect at the very top of the LCD screen above the clock. You don't see it unless you look at the phone from an angle. Is this "normal" or are we going to have to get new phones?

Normal. It's just led backlighting. Its more noticeable on some displays than others. I didn't notice it on my 6, but I see a little bit on my 6S+ if I hold it at an extreme angle..I think it's more common on the larger screen. If it bothers you exchange them, if not, keep them. Most phones will have it though to some degree.

I edited my initial post. On mine, I don't have a shadow that I see during normal use, even on a white screen. I have to focus my eyes on the area to see what 'maybe' looks like a tiny tiny shadow. I have pretty bad ocd as well (I traded a 5 month old Porsche after a minor fender bender because I couldn't stand the non-factory paint) and this 'spot' doesn't bother me. Yours must be worse. If it's obviously noticeable just scrolling through a webpage is exchange it too.
Yea I've showed it to 5 people already and they saw that spot immediately.
other than that, I love everything about this phone, especially the performance

Here's a picture (near the bottom left of the screen)

Might be a little difficult to see because I took it with my iPad's crappy camera

I noticed that too. Not serious but noticeable, now it cannot be unseen....:-(

Mine has it too... 64GB Gold 6s Plus. Irritating with white backgrounds and I've even started to see it on low brightness now too.

I have this on my 6S+ as well although not as apparent as the picture (a little more faint). Other than that, the screen is perfect. I am half tempted to have it replaced but know from experience you never know what you will get next in the apple lottery so I might just live with it. I am still on the fence though....

Funny thing is I didn't notice it upon receiving the device but after reading about it on the forums, it catches my eye now. This forums make some people a little too OCD over a phone as opposed to just enjoying it.

Agreed. I don't expect perfection with anything. This (at least my barely noticeable example) is totally acceptable to me.

The problem is, I never read about this issue, the spot just caught my attention when I was reading news on safari. And as one guy said above, once seen, it can't be unseen :(

I decided I'm going to exchange for a regular 6S after playing around with my fiance's 6S. There's plenty of stock so I can do it today. That way I can enjoy the 6S, and wait a couple of months to see if the construction of the Plus model improves while stock also becomes more available.

For your instance, maybe I would consider swapping the device out. Seems the effect of this varies by device. I just get leery when it comes to these replacements because the next phone might have multiple issues and at that point wish you had the original back. Of course you can keep exchanging phone after phone but me personally do not have that kind of time to keep going back to an Apple store.

I'm not seeing it... tell me what I'm looking for? Where, exactly?
It almost looks like a little shadow in the bottom left. It is a little below and all the way to the left of the tools button. It is easier to see when your scrolling and looking in that general area as opposed to a still picture. It has to be the same cause for each phone as it is in the same spot on all just to varying degrees.

I have personally inspected 13 6s+ and they all have it. Now I can understand why some people claims they don't have it because it can be difficult to see with an untrained set of eyes.

I took a look at the iFixit photos and I believe that it is the clip that holds the display panel that is causing this pressure point.

To be honest for most models I've seen, unless you look for it, you can't really see it. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I can see it very slightly on mine. Question is will it get worse? If its stays the same its no issue.

If you return your device it seems the odds are against you to get a "perfect" one as dL just mentioned he has looked at 13 of them.

Precisely why I'm exchanging for a 6S. I'm going to wait a few months on the Plus to see if things get better.

Plenty of stock here for the 6S, and I can finally get the Band 30 model to boot!

That's why I didn't bother exchanging mine. I was about to until I realized they all have it.

Also, all 6s+ have that light-dark-light-dark Spotlight spots on the top edge, especially visible if you tilt and look at an angle.
