There's that P word again :). It's not perfect but it's a good screen.

None of these screens are perfect and there isn't a perfect one out there. Find one that you can live with that won't give you buyers remorse and look forward to iPhone 7 :)

I was given a week 37 phone yesterday as a replacement. New one still has it, although less pronounced. They did a test on the old one and found it was worse than we could even see. I'm going to wait a few months until they can do direct screen replacements as I've been able to remain with TSMC chips on all 3, then go in and get the screen swapped. I just think that'll do the trick better than anything.

EDIT: This is my 3rd phone.
Are yours the 128gb. Guy told me at the Apple Store that TSMC. Chips are mostly on the 128 models. What does he know? Lol

I used to think that my phone was better than others because it had a TSMC CPU in it. That is until I received my replacement that has a Samsung a9 and noticed no difference in battery life or performance. Don't believe the hype folks.

As someone who has tried a more than a few phones both TSMC and Samsung I can say there is more variation amongst the phones than just the CPU. The worst 6S Plus I had for battery life was actually a TSMC. I'm happy with the Samsung I have now.

I received my replacement iPhone 6S Plus yesterday. Week 41 (previous one was week 40) again with Samsung manufactured A9. It's nearly perfect with a very hard to see light blemish down at the left corner. Previous one was much more distinct. So I guess it's a keeper and if it deteriorates in time, I will replace it then. Can't live another 10 days with out my iPhone.View attachment 598410View attachment 598411
Can someone tell me how to get a full white screen like this to test it? Also for these pics are they on full brightness? Thanks for your help I'm not a very good techie.

You could just search for a plain white background, save it then open it in photos. Zoom in on the image and check from there.

Just out of curiosity why are you going out of your way to look for flaws in your device. If you don't notice anything by now then I would keep it.

But I know if I go out and look at my car's paint close enough and long enough that I'll find a flaw in there somewhere! :D

Not going out of my way I have dark a spot on left and darkish right lower corner. Just wanted to figure out what I should do today is my 14th day. I did pay $1029 cash not sure what I'm going to do. Return or keep. They don't have any in stock.

Not looking for flaws anyone can see it. Others have posted pics why can't I? It's my money if I want one without obvious defects. It's my choice.

Why would I want to do that? I haven't had a replacement. I have everything Apple. Always had iPhones and everything else.

Just wanted to see how bad they show on white full screen like lots have been posting here so just wondered if there is a webpage to get full white screen to see how it bad it looks.

All of these screens have flaws. Like I said before, all LCD's have flaws so you shouldn't expect your next device to be perfect.

I take it back. Mine has yellowish tint on top half with blemish points (3 of them) all over the top. Off it goes back to Apple. I'm settling for the 6S. This is rather disappointing considering the 6S+ is most nicest iPhone. But on positive side, The 6S definitely has improved display over the 6 in the pixel density. My wife has 6 and I can tell that the tiny words where it's unreadable, It is readable on 6S. I'm pretty mad at myself because I originally had the 6S after I returned the first 6S+ when I thought it was kinda big. Then after I got 6S, I missed the 6S+ large lcd. So I sent the 6S back and dropped it off at FEDEX, A HOUR later, I find the issue with 6S+.

Sucks be me, eh..

Looking for 'defects' in a mass produced device is foolish. The prices paid for this device does not warrant the quality expected. What is needed is a custom device tailored to OCD of the buyer, which will come at a steep price, definitely not at price for a mass produced product.

If the cost of the mass produced phone seems high, then it's time to have a reality check. That's a fine looking high horse some people are on.

You must have a good screen. When you see two dark spots that cloud your text as your reading. It's very annoying.

If it actually qualifies as a defect, then it should be replaced for a good one that shouldn't have passed inspection at manufacturing. But if the good one being sought starts looking like a unicorn, that's when behavior forks from reality and becomes a fantasy. Fantasy can only lead to crash landing when reality strikes.

Are 6s screens any better than the plus? I've had two pluses and both had problems. I may just opt for the smaller screen.
