Cool. Live with it like you can't exchange it and make your final decision on Day12 or 13.

There is no doubt that not everyone can see some of the issues. I have the same as yours with a slight bluish hue towards the right (not the 3mm blue side thing that others talk about). I showed a friend my phone yesterday, and was showing him the problem. At first I said, can you see any uniformity problems. He couldn't. So I pointed out directly the issue, and he was looking at my phone at different angles for several minutes and came to the conclusion I was insane as there was nothing wrong with it. So it goes to show how much variance there is in human colour resolution capability.

Since I'm on my third phone and all have had the issue at this point, I called Apple directly (it's enough that on any screen I can see it even when I'm not directly looking for it). I asked for a Senior Adviser, and at this point she agreed I shouldn't have to keep going back to the store to replace the phone. Apparently they're going to mail me a new one and I'll mail back the old one once I receive the new one. If this doesn't work, I'm going to just stick it out until replacement screens are an option, because I'm just tired of replacing a phone this many times within a month and a half of owning it.

Yes I agree, must be a sensitivity (or lack of) that varies from person to person.

Every iPhone I've seen from new has this Blue hue on the right hand side, some a lot worse than others. Mine was the best of the bunch so I kept it.

What's really weird is I've had my phone for 18 days now and the Blue hue is slowly moving left to cover the entire screen. This is a good thing.

The characteristics of these screens seem to change over time. What I'm looking at today is definitely a much better, more uniform screen than I had 2 weeks ago out of the box.

I'm getting more and more pleased with the screen as time goes on.

I think mine is still changing as I clock up more hours. It started really even, then has become less even....and now I have to hope it evens out again over time :) Although my pressure point blemish was always very minor, it has become even less visible now! so that seems to change too

Maybe your eyes are just getting more accustomed to it.

I think I posted earlier in this thread about the three 6S Plus' I've had, but I didn't know the week number at the time.

They were all Week 42, for what's it's worth.

The first one was pretty obvious, though not bad.
The second was less pronounced, though visible if you looked for it.
The third is there, but I feel like I only notice it because I know exactly where to look. It's very, very minor. If I had gotten this phone first, I doubt I'd have noticed it was there even if I looked around for it.

Because of my variation, I doubt build week has much to do with it, unless there is a particular build week that has been significantly worse than other weeks.

I'm pretty sure build week has nothing to do with it. Mine's a week 42 and don't have this blue bookspine binding issue (on the sides) on mine and don't have the blemish (or pressure point mind you) either. No yellow tints either. But doesn't mean it's perfect.

Sounds it.:D

Man talk about bad luck...I have never seen it on the top before. What is crazy is this thread has over 1100 posts about the issue yet we still don't know exactly what is causing the issue.

Doubt it's bad luck. I think its that factory line C39. Since I have not seen a 6S+ with different serial.

My first week 43 had a serial number beginning with FXXXX and it had it on both left and right. My current week 43 is a C39 and does not have this. Go figure.

I wonder, all those with issues, Are they silver/rose gold/gold (with white bezel)? Or does it affects all 4 colors? Mine were all Silver.

Doubt there's any discrimination by colour.

Mine were all Gold and the typical screen faults I examined in Apple Stores were across all models.

I have had 2 Silver and 2 Space Gray that all had it. My current Silver is the one that does not. Every exchange I repurchased an alternate color don't ask my why.

Indeed - I've never had a problem with screens on any Apple product until the iPhone 6 Plus. Here's hoping it's a '6' thing and with the 7, there's a big improvement.

Yeah same here. If my next one has a blemish I'll just swap it out right before my warranty is up to get a fresh battery.

So you went with Rose Gold at one point? ;)

Kidding.. SG and S is sweet colors of all. I sticked with Silver because I hate dusts being noticeable on a completely black front.

Honestly, I am not surprised that Apple chose not to use AMOLED at all. Remember AMOLED is unusable outside under the sun. Because we couldn't see a thing. I remember having an Android phone (Droid Incredible) with AMOLED. It was completely useless outside. I had to use one of my hands as shade to see what was said. Moto used AMOLED for Moto X 2014. Now they came back to TFT-LCD for the Moto X Pure/Play which is no surprise there. AMOLED has more cons than TFT-LCD.
