I have a perfect display. I have the suspicion that later build pluses are manufactured differently in a way that eliminates this issue. Not sure how you work out the manufacturing week.
Gotcha, every day I notice the pressure point blemish less and less (although to be honest my 6S Plus barely had it anyway) In fact, this morning I had to close my eyes and rub them to make sure I wasn't going crazy because i couldn't see the pressure point. So, it's a good thing, maybe it does fade after a while.
I'm currently using a note 5 and I'm by no means a light user and I'm able to get 6hrs SOT consistently, I think that Samsung phones used to be known for being a battery hog before Samsung finally went and slimmed there skin A LOT. Don't get me wrong it's still there but it isnt as bad as it used to be. I love apple products but I'm very happy with the note 5 screen and build and now the OS can't imagine what marshmallow will bring I'm not trying to sound like a fanboi I like both products evenly, and I think AMOLED used to be crappy In direct sunlight the S4 was a perfect example of that but this new screen gets bright as hell I think that ANAND Tech said it gets in the 550- 600+ nits in maximum brightness http://www.anandtech.com/show/9558/the-samsung-galaxy-note5-and-galaxy-s6-edge-review/3I've had Samsungs forever and although the display is nice indoors, it goes black in direct sunlight. I hate that. Also they're battery hogs.
I prefer the iPhone displays. By far.

Yeah lots of crap chatted on here about Samsungs and android. I'm neutral towards it all. First smartphone was the very first iphone, Last few years I have had android phones, this year the 6s plus, next year whichever looks better to me. Why people need to be fanboys I'll never understand.I'm currently using a note 5 and I'm by no means a light user and I'm able to get 6hrs SOT consistently, I think that Samsung phones used to be known for being a battery hog before Samsung finally went and slimmed there skin A LOT. Again not trying to be a fanboi I just feel that note 5 takes the cake on screen quality hands down imo seeing as you can lower the saturation in settings which according to a lot of reviewers is very good and very close to RGB.

You don't believe that to be acceptable, wow. Ok please enlighten me on what you would think is acceptable battery life? My 6s plus with the same usage get about 7 on average maybe a few minutes more. This is watching YouTube streaming music, reading Tapatalk forums, some photo taking and watching Hulu, messaging constantly, phone calls etc. On both phones I don't think 6 hrs or more is terrible. Also you had a bad note 4 then. Not talking crap at all.
My screen on my Note 4 is completely black in sunlight. And Lollipop killed my battery life.
I don't consider 6 hours screen on time to be acceptable for a battery.
You realize that's about five hours screen on time and loads of background usage boosting the usage time? I had youtube do this 4 hours of background usage thing to me: it practically uses nothing battery wise. This is what I consider acceptable.
If I had a bad Note 4 then there are a lot of people with a bad Note 4 after Lollipop.
And yes, the screen is black in direct sunlight.

The Iphone 6s plus' battery is very good, I should know being an owner of one. But it can get one, maybe two hours more of SOT at best compared to the latest android phones on offer. Still good, but not a dealbreaker to most.
Regarding your Note 4 usage graph... That looks like you've got yourself a lemon or something is not right with apps or software. A common problem that occurs to both (all) brands of phones.
Not being rude but how the **** this topic sneak its way into this threadHere is the thing. I am on my device a lot. It lasts me an entire day with a lot of screen on time. The Note 4 doesn't come close.
And that Note 4 was perfect on KitKat. Lollipop destroyed it. I'm not the only one. There are plenty of similar reports.

I stated the Note 4 screen turned black in sunlight and that it had terrible battery life. I was accused of talking crap. Not being rude but how the **** this topic sneak its way into this thread
True. LolYet you used asterisks to mask a word that would have been taken as rude in normal conversation.![]()
Sometimes we can unintentionally hijack a thread. LolI stated the Note 4 screen turned black in sunlight and that it had terrible battery life. I was accused of talking crap.
Frankly I'm with them.
Does the phone work? Yes.
Does this blemish some are seeing make it impossible to view the screen? No.
Is the blemish some are seeing visible only when those affected have to go through specific steps to make it visible? Yes.
It's a fabricated issue as much as the chip gate issue.
I had to turn on the screen to full brightness, which is not how I use my phone, and go to a full white page. Only then was I able to see the tiniest of gray shadows, less than one quarter inch, before I could see it.
Honestly. If people's lives are so charmed where this is an issue, I am envious. I'd love to see them inspect a car.
Thanks. But I will visit this thread. It provides great comedic value. My wife's screen has so many blemishes that viewing anything on it makes it pop out. While you're entitled to your opinion you aren't necessarily entitled to tell others that theirs is not valid. Unless you've seen every phone every person has had, you don't know what degree each person's issues are to. The store that this email refers to was the same store that tried to deny me of my right to use one of my 2 instances of loss guaranteed by Applecare when I accidentally destroyed my screen on my Apple Watch, and I even had to call Apple Customer service to get them to tell the store that yes, what I was asking for was covered by Applecare. So no, what they're saying does not hold merit in my book.
You can call it fabricated all you want, but if you're so bothered by what people are saying here, don't visit.
