Mine has it but its really, really hard to see. That said I can see it a little more when scrolling a band over it in the settings. I'm not returning mine or doing anything at this time. If Apple decides its an issue who know maybe I will get a free replacement in the future.

Well i looked for it but couldn't see it but then i struggled to see it on the op's post. Then i did see it on my phone. Not very clearly but it seemed to be there. I turned the brightness up and it disappeared. Got home from work and checked again under bright lights and I just can't see it any more even on a white background. So whether its there or not, I am not going to look for it and its not going to stop me enjoying my new 6s Plus.

Far from an apologist. Check some of my previous posts if you don't believe me. I just think some perspective is a good thing to have. It's a phone that will take a beating and most on these forums replace yearly. How can you ever enjoy if it you're searching for flaws? Look long enough anywhere and you'll eventually find what you're looking for.

I'm not trying to minimize legitimate issues, believe me. I just think some people have unrealistic expectations of a mass produced product.

Mine never take a beating, have screen protectors front & rear, they're in a leather flip case and I use Assistive Touch so even my home button doesn't get much abuse. Buying a used iPhone off me is a guaranteed minter.

Folks, the trick of seeing most screen defects (besides backlight bleeding) is to NOT turn your brightness all the way up. Uniformity, shadow spots, pressure spots are harder to identify when brightness is at 100%. When you're at 10-50%, it's a lot easier to identify and that's usually what most people's screen displays are on I suspect, especially in the evening.

That is true it makes it more apparent for those who maybe cannot see it because of how high they have their display turned up. In any instance has anyone brought this issue up in store? I am curious what they are saying about it.

Thanks a lot. At first i didn't even notice it but now that I looked, it was there... I'm not going to have mine replaced just yet. lol

I see it with my phone too, although it doesn't ruin my overall experience. Let's wait and see if Apple says anything about it.

Jeez buying an iPhone from you would be a relief for a lot of people. All that stuff on it you should just bubble wrap it and send it to the Smithsonian. :p

Joking aside, I usually keep a case on mine the first three or four months then it comes off. Never use a screen protector or anything like that. I just hate covering such a nice looking phone up. It almost seems wrong to keep it mint condition for the next person to enjoy.

If I were a betting man, I would bet the house that all you guys who are thinking this will go to bed tonight, wake up tomorrow and forget it's even there.

I am calling Tim Cook and let him know how disappointed I am and that I expect the highend 15" MBP for my troubles. Right after I eat dinner, take care of the bird and get take care of life issues. If I dont get my way I am sending the phone back and getting a samsung S something!!!!! :)

Not to mention the box that the phone came in had a very small dent in it.

There is a blemish and as the OP suggested its more that likely a location of a components . I think most here will be interested in learning the cause.
I am surely not running to the apple store for a replacement.

Hmm. I see it now. Disappointing between that and the headphone buzzing issue. Still, I can't go back to the 6 plus. The RAM makes it so much nicer to use.

No wonder people give Apple fans all these bad names. Some of you are actually accepting a screen with a dark shadow. Hilarious.

These are probably the same people that wet themselves over Johnny Ive's voice

I went naked (aside from a screen protector) with my i5 but find the 6+ and 6S+ just too darn delicate. Then there's that protruding camera...
It isn't just resale value I'm protecting, I enjoy keeping things looking new. I was brought up to know that things would never be replaced and if I broke them then that's it. No replacements. So I tended to baby stuff. I use the heck out of my phones but they get looked after.

I just had my Genius appointment for my 6 and he looked at the blemish on my 6S + while I was there. Then he looked at his phone and his had it, too. Then we looked at the display units and they all had it. So I guess this is going to be a common issue. He didn't offer a replacement nor did I ask. Everything else is perfect on the phone.

6 or 6S?

Far from all having it, it appears that's some very few seem to have it. Mine does not, and I looked rather closely.

I won't look any more as I don't inspect my phones under a microscope for microscopic problems that other people worry about. When I see people list problems that you have to go to certain screens or do certain tests to see I don't worry about them. If they do not exist under normal operating conditions them I'm not worried about them.

Perfection does not exist.

This is what I suspect will happen..I think it is common and chances of you getting one without it are slim to none. Not worth risking giving away your otherwise perfect phone for one you have no idea.

In the end it doesn't really matter.

I did notice mine had the same blemish, and in the end it doesn't matter, its just a phone. IMO the OP is overreacting.
