Will their be massive returns of iPhone 6+ once people try it out?

The title of this thread should read: "Will THERE be massive returns of iPhone 6+ once people try it out?"

Use there when referring to a place, whether concrete ("over there by the building") or more abstract ("it must be difficult to live there").

Also use there with the verb BE (is, am, are, was, were) to indicate the existence of something, or to mention something for the first time.
There is an antique store on Camden Avenue.
There are many documents that are used in investigations.
There is a picnic area over here, and a monster and a campground across the river.
"I see there are new flowers coming up in your garden." "Yes, they are the ones my grandmother gave me last year."

In specs the 6 Plus is better (1080p display, OIS, bigger battery) but if specs were the thing people cared about, no one would use Apple. Android phones have had 1080p displays for years as well as 3GB RAM and octo-core processors.

Chose the 6 simply because I liked the size of it.

Yep, just like folks opting for the Mini instead of the Air.

----------

2 of those specs are just due to the size of the device. I suspect OIS is also related to size as well...they could fit it in.

I don't see any of these specs making it a "flagship" device.

----------

Based on that argument, the 4.7" is new as well.

I think you'll see a big wait time for the 6+ because demand outweighs supply, but I don't think the 6+ will come anywhere near outselling the 6.

Folks accustomed to their previous iPhone and liking the 4" size would IMHO go for the 6. The Notes never outsold the S series Samsungs. Phablets are a niche only.

The public schools stopped doing their job years ago.

Stooooooop using emoticons! You're literally saving half a second. Can't you just write your emotions out in full?

Totally not the same thing. Emoticons are purposely made for this exact purpose. Apple doesn't name products just to have lazy people shorten names just to save their fat, diabetic fingers .34 of a second typing out a proper name.

I was only joking with you.

But abbreviating it to 6+ makes sense: leaving it as 6 Plus could cause confusion, as if you're just skim reading you may just see the '6' bit. And it less it consistent with previous iPhone models, which helps with consistency.

It will likely cut BOTH ways.

6+ gets returned because of size and bulkiness.

6 gets returned because the battery life drains faster even before dinner time while the 6+ it can last all the way until bedtime and beyond. And the 1 GB of RAM. Most iOS bash Android because of stutter, hiccups, force closes, lag, etc. They prefer smoothness. Having 2 GB on the 6+ can gives you that smoother experience.

Right now, people are just confused with the choices because this is the first time Apple offered two sizes with some differing specs which might compromise their lifestyle. My money is on the 6+ just because it seems better to have in the longer run because of the 2 GB of RAM, bigger battery, and normal FULL HD resolution.

6+ has not been confirmed at 1GB as of yet. In fact, it looks as if it has only 1 GB from phonearena.com report. Yet to be confirmed though.

I guess some people can't handle that the 6 Plus is turning out to be a run-away success. So now the next hope is that ppl will have buyers remorse. That's where we are at on the plot of the defense mechanism time-line.

Remember like I always said:

The 5.5 is not even that big. It's generally the same size as a 4/4.7.

Why is it a contest at all? One is just larger than the other.

Such childishness.

I hope whoever posts the inevitable poll has the foresight to do both "bought the 6, wish I'd gone for the Plus", and "Bought the Plus, wish I'd gone for a 6", as well as "happy with my purchase".

I personally think the 6 Plus is going to blow the doors off and sell far, far more than Apple's projections. It's big, but not insanely so.

Personally, I will get one if the Apple Watch can sync my runs later, not making me wear a phone on my arm as I'm currently doing. The 6 Plus is just too big, IMO, to wear in an armband and not look ridiculous.

For now, I'm going to go with a vanilla 6, or maybe just sit on my 5S for a bit. Work is buying, but I don't want to abuse their generosity. Upgrading once a year already seems excessive.

Ordered the 6, thinking about to switch to 6+.

Same here, not gonna lie. Had no problems getting in at 2:45, could have ordered anything. Didn't even consider the 6 Plus thinking it would be too big.

When my 6 case arrived Saturday...it looked smaller than I'd been hoping for. Regretted not going larger since then...

Just try the Note 3

All ya gotta do is go to your local cellphone retailer and ask to play with the displayed Note 3 for a few seconds. You will know more or less instantly if it's too big and if, by extension, the iPhone 6+ is or not the right fit for your hand.

or a 4.7 model. After playing with one of those and comparing it to the 5.1...I realized how much smaller the 6 was to the Galaxy 5.

I don't understand why people need a 5.7" phone.

Try harder.

Let me help you, it's all about personal choice.

I don't get people who don't understand that everyone's choice is the right one for them.

Personally, I don't understand people who join an internet discussion forum, but don't really grasp the concept of discussing anything.

Instead, they want to name themselves after a 90s action flick and make a post about how they don't understand something.

If you don't understand something, join in the discussion and ask people why their preference is an iPhone Plus, over an iPhone 6.

I'll start you off, I went for the 5.5" because I use my phone as a business tool (I'm self employed) and I wanted a larger screen to help me see things easier and to help my productivity (time is money after all).

I also use it as a personal device and love the idea of the screen to look and show photos and videos I've taken with it and have stored elsewhere.

The larger screen was a primary driver for those reasons.

Does that help?
