Will their be massive returns of iPhone 6+ once people try it out?

The difference between a 6 and a 6+ is most definitely not akin to looking at 13" Air vs 13" MBP retina.

Maybe not...but I am betting the other side. The iPhone 6 has 1 million pixels. iPhone 6+ 2 million pixels, that does not seem trivial.

401ppi vs 326ppi, there is going to be a difference.

I am just amazed how the emphasis is on how huge the 6 + is and little talk about the overall better screen and resolution.

This is my opinion and I maybe very wrong.

----------

I use my Moto X more than any other smartphone I have with better specs and screen.

Best ergonomic phone ever.

I do wish Apple would have shrunk the bezel, like many have said. I think the width is really nice on the 5.5", the height is the rub.

I do think the 4.7" looks tall and thin, kinda awkward but it may turn out to be the best compromise in the end.

I did order a iPhone 6+ FWIW(my hands are not large but I am betting after a week I won't care much, there will obviously be a loss of true one-handed use but it will force me not use it as much in the car and that is safe thing)

There may be a slightly higher rate of returns/exchanges this time around. However I envisage just as many people having 'big screen envy' and swapping their 6 for a 6 plus, rightly or wrongly. Just as there will be people going from a 6 plus to a 6.

lol

chill out its just a phone... pick one and enjoy life....
life really is short.... :)

Just received my Spigen 6+ Neo Hybrid case. Wow, it's huge. I'd say right now, I'm suddenly at 80/20 in favor of the iPhone 6 (was 50/50 before).

Once you see that vibrant screen you'll be 100% for the plus!

Remember!

When you get a case or cardboard cut out you're only seeing the downsides and not letting the vibrant screen hypnotize your choices!!!

Keep in mind this year more than ever, the screen just pops because they made the screen layers thinner or whatever and now it will blend and pop more than ever!!

This is part of what sells you!

A case and card board cutout don't do it full justice!

I think some people will end up being shocked by the size of the phone (the reviews are kind of bearing that out). But, it seems as though the people reviewing them started getting used to the size and were digging it the longer they used it. Perhaps not enough to choose it, but I'm guessing it will take some a while to get used to the phablet size. I personally don't talk on my phone much and am a fairly big guy so the size is actually a plus for me. The screen on my iPhone 5 is just too small so a big jump up was high on my list.

It's not too late to change!
Lol, my 6+ is going to my brother if I can't live with it. I'm giving myself a month to get used to it. :p

I was actually supposed to get 2x 6+ but I was still undecided on the model so I let my reservation for the ATT Space Gray 128GB expire. That one was reserved 12:45AM Pacific so you're welcome to whomever got my place in line. The 64GB, we're definitely keeping. :)

I think some people will return it because of size shock or size issues. But the people that decided on it chose it for various reasons including the size. Even the reviewers who used both devices said that they found themselves using it more and more and the size became a non issue for the most part.

You're talking about a flagship device that is available in far less quantity at launch, so that preempts any real massive returns, but regardless I think the percentage will be fairly small.

I ordered a 6 Plus and while I am worried about the size, **knock on wood, avoid foreshadowing and alphabet soup (eating my own words)** I don't see myself returning it.

And when you put it in a pocket and you can't sit down comfortably? Or it fit in your winter coat pocket, or hoodie, etc?
It might be a daily real life PITA

I remain on the fence till more reviews and I handle it extensively.
Think i'll stick with the 6 and trade up in size when the bezels shrink

I've read the same too, about the adaptability of the larger screen coming from a 4/4S or 5/5S user which is why I'm waiting to see the 6+ in person before ordering outright and be surprised by its size.

I've had access to a Nokia Lumia 1520 (effectively the same size as the iPhone 6 Plus) in addition to my iPhone 5, I actually used the Lumia 1520 exclusively on a recent cruise holiday due to the vastly better camera and my reaction was that while the Lumia was more of a pain to carry around (ie, I tended to put it in my back pocket and when sitting I'd take it out and set it on the table in front of me), the screen size/quality was enough that it was worth the extra hassle.

I spend a lot of time browsing the web, checking twitter/RSS etc, that the extra screen size is really useful.

But it's entirely personal preference!

Do you think the 4.7 would be somewhat comparable to the 5.5 in terms of viewing?

I might return mine if I deem it too unwieldy. These are brand new sizes and I don't feel like anyone can really make the right choice without trying them out. If you're completely opposed to the Plus, then that's another issue altogether. I figure why not, I'll try it out. If not, I'm visiting home in two weeks and can exchange it then.

Note: Apple changed their iPhone return policy to 14 days last spring. So you better decide quickly!

I think that a lot of people might return theirs, but they might also decide to get the Plus as well after letting a friend try it out or trying it in the store.

F*K it. Am keeping my big 5.5" stick. These naysayers wont sway me. While they fumble between phone and pad, i'll be seamlessly transitioning from fun to productivity and back. If I look funny talking on a piece of toast, so be it. I love attention. Don't hate, appreciate.

I predict the massive amount of returns of iP6+ will bankrupt Apple. I'm just glad I'll be able to get my iP6+ tomorrow before Apple calls it quits.

Bigfoot will be returned to Apple at a rate that surpasses any product in the history of the company. The dimensions of Bigfoot are ghastly, almost unholy. Bigger than even the Galaxy Note 3 and 4? You've got to be kidding me Tim Cook!
