I've used both

I got to use both models today at work and I have to say I'm very glad I went with the 6+

Bigfoot will be returned to Apple at a rate that surpasses any product in the history of the company. The dimensions of Bigfoot are ghastly, almost unholy. Bigger than even the Galaxy Note 3 and 4? You've got to be kidding me Tim Cook!

I agree. There will probably be a shortage of manly men able to handle the iPhone 6+...

How did you get to view both? Why do you say you're happy with the 6+?

The retail store where I work got one of each for our display. I am the manager so of corse I opened them and used both. Seeing them Side by side made the iPhone 6 seem small. The plus has a great display and is thin so it doesn't seem abnormally large.

Only reason why I got the 6 Plus is because it has OIS.

If both phones had OIS, I would have went with the regular 6

Stooooooop this the "6+" stuff. It's 6 Plus. This drives me insane how lazy people are. You're literally saving a half a second. Type it correctly.

On your signature line, The "S" on iPhone 5S should be lowercase... iPhone 5s.

Get your own stuff straight before going ballistic on others, can't wait to enjoy my iPhone 6+!

Just got the 6 Plus "Black Apple Leather" case delivered tonight for my silver 64GB 6 Plus (Arrives tomorrow ). I think the combo will be nice!

Before I opened the package, I was "Steeling" myself to the shock that was surely to come when my eyes first caught a glimpse of the massive case. To my surprise, my reaction was more like "nice size". Doesn't seem too big at all.

As long as it's "pocketable".....the size sill do nicely!

I went to Apple today, saw the 6+ and 6. During the leaks, I had my heart set on the 6+, but now that I've seen it, it's awfully huge. I would've been one of those that returned the 6+ had I pre-ordered it.

Also, all 3 colors looked washed out. They aren't as vibrant as on the 5S. why is that?

Given the aging baby boomers, the 6+ is the perfect phone for those desiring Accessibility features of bigger screen for increased text size and FaceTiming the grandkids, OIS for shaky hands etc.

All the blue hair crowd will be carrying them at the club. I suspect Apple was aiming for that market and just picked up a few "old at heart" users along the way.

Horizontal typing on my 6 will take some noticeable adjustment. I could not imagine texting that way on the 6+.

I'm 49, Technically I'm not a baby boomer but OUCH!

The statement is true. The screen is beautiful and big. Maybe a bit to big for me but My 5S looks so tiny now.

I have owned a flagship android phone but if there high screens look this good, that's great everyone wins.

The other big issue is how slippery this phone is. Ugh, so afraid to drop it. My case did not show up on time.

I don't suppose there are any hidden Keyboard settings that allow you to squish the portrait-mode keyboard over to the right, to make it easier to reach the Q, A, and Z when typing one-handed?

I went to the AT&T store yesterday around 7:30am. Only about 14 people in line. I was hoping to score a 6+ but they only had 2, and I decided to buy the regular 6 to try out for 14 days. After one day, I still think I want the 6+, but losing one-handed typing could be a big problem. Even with the regular 6, I wish there was a way to tweak the stock keyboard to pull/shrink it to the right a bit (or to the left, if you're left-handed).

The good news, I guess, is that now that Apple is allowing 3rd party keyboards, it may just be a matter of time before someone offers an option like that.

Nah the oldies hands are too shaky to hold the 6+ they'll be needing a smaller device for their arthritic mits to hold on to ;)

But I do genuinely think there will be a lot of returns of the 6+ as people realise they jumped the gun and didn't realise quite what they were getting into.

There will be massive amounts of dropped iPhone 6+'s due to people trying to prove its a one handed device.

Actually, the 6 Plus is slightly narrower and thinner than the Note (but also slightly taller). So only bigger in one dimension out of 3.

I think the fact that the Note devices are fatter is the reason they lioked so rudicukous. I think the 6+ is perfect. The guys at work were trying to convince themselves that the smaller model 6 was right so they didnt have to exchange it.

"All 3 colors?" If you're asking why the colors on the iPhone aren't super saturated like they are on the S5, it's because Apple chooses to use an IPS display which is known for very accurate color reproduction. Samsung uses Super AMOLED display which throws color reproduction out the door and favors a more color saturated look.

So if you want your colors super saturated, you go Samsung. If, like me, you're into photography and you want accurate color reproduction, you go Apple.
