I'm leaning more and more toward an andriod device, and tomorrow is going to be the deciding factor. If apple can wow me, or pull the wool, I might stick with the 5S.

Is anyone else in the same boat? Or are you all decided?

I would love Apple to blow me away tomorrow with their 5S, but I don't see it happening. The quality of the camera is very important to me and I can't see Apple getting close to Sony with their 5S camera.

So you're willing to give up the perfection that I call the iPhone and go to a inferior phone just because of the camera?

Not sure if you're being serious or not, but for me the camera is one of the most important functions of a smartphone. I would prefer an Iphone as my house is all Apple, but I'm not going to buy an inferior product simply because it connects well to my other technology.

My brother got a SG4S for his work phone. Thing is bad***. Makes me want an ever bigger screen.

If the finger-print sensor is it's main selling point, no way I'll be upgrading.

I will definitly be upgrading to the iPhone 5S from my iPhone 4S. I've been out of contract with Verizon for a while week and I can't wait! :D:p

Nope. I'm consumed in Apples ecosystem with Airport, iTunes, Airplay, iCloud, et cetera. No matter what the next iPhone offers, I'll be purchasing it. :)

Really?

You are going to spend hundreds of dollars on a gadget that could be completely inferior to the competition just because it fits into the Apple ecosystem?

Make. I'd try an Android phone but my grandfathered iPhone-only cheap unlimited data is keeping me with Apple. No regrets though, I'm looking forward to the 5S and enjoyed using the iOS7 beta.

The poll lacks some options. I'm eligible for an upgrade and would not take an android device but will not take the 5S if I don't like it. I'm not averse to using my iPod touch 5G for data via WiFi and a regular ol' cellphone for voice calls. Yeah. A dumbphone!

I don't care for the long form of the 5, judging from my iPod touch experience, except for movies it's good. For a phone, no way. I have liked the size of my 4S a lot, especially for reading books when I don't have my iPad mini with me. I prefer the 4S for book-reading to the iPod touch 5G. Something about the length of the 5G screen is tiresome for reading, at least for me. With the 4S I don't even have to move my eyes, just raise the font size a little and keep flipping pages! So I guess I'm sorta heading off the Apple map in the phone department as the specs of the 4S age out. Time will tell what my next move is but I have a feeling tomorrow's smartphone might not be for me.

(But I am drawn to the bright colors of those 5C models!)

I'm in the same situation...iPad, iPhone 5, Apple TV, iMac...except i'll pass on the 5S and wait for the 6...

Probably change the 4S of my wife for a 5C

I'll probably stick with my iPhone 5 for one more year, until the iPhone 6 gets released with a new design. The 16 GB iPhone 5 already costs over US$ 1,000 here in Brazil, and it gets expensive to buy another one every year. But if the iPhone 5S comes with 2.6 GHz LTE support, a much faster processor, a fingertip sensor, higher capacity... well, then I may consider buying a new one. Another black one. Not the "champagne" crap.

I'm debating whether or not to replace my 4S. The larger screen is currently the pulling factor for me.

Everything else is an extra, including LTE unless I get off of the 200MB plan :(

There is a 99.9% chance that I will not go to the 5S/5C Im very happy with the 5. And in 2014 I will go to Android. Not that I hate iPhone and iOS I just want to try it out

I actually qualify for an upgrade 3 months ago. I will only upgrade only if for some miraculous reason Apple decides to offer the 5S in a larger screen size since they're offering the 5C in the same screen size as the 5. I'm also hoping for a redesign, but I doubt this will happen due to all the leaks leaning towards an enhanced 5 > 5S. Therefore, I will wait next year for the 6.

I'm also considering an Sony Xperia for the one year interim until Apple introduces the iPhone 6 next year. This would be Plan B if I'm not wowed tomorrow.

This is really funny. I knew Samesung had recruited an army of people to post on forums to try and sell their plastic, but this is over the top. A tiny minority of people in the poll are foolish enough to say they are going to Android but the majority of comments are Samesung army men. It's getting tiresome guys, give it away.

I am already almost converted over to android, it's nice I just hate the phone I have atm.:D Apple really needs to do it big tomorrow otherwise I am gone, most of my friends have already, I am likely to follow.

Normally I'd wait for the next number model but if it has a fingerprint sensor and its applied well, then I might go for it. If not, I will sell my ipad if retina mini is released it ipad 5 is hot

5S, love :apple: iPhones, I have an android tablet (2 years w/ it) w/ the latest android fw w cyanogen and haven't really being impressed w/ it to say I want to jump to an android phone.

First year of not upgrading for me. Staying with my IP5. If Apple surprises tomorrow with a larger screen choice, I'd upgrade in a heartbeat. But I don't think that's going to happen. So I'll save my money and maybe upgrade my iPad 2 when the 5 comes out. That, I'm excited about...

Tomorrow will not have any affect on my purchase of the next iPhone. I will be buying early next year due to my contract schedule.

The 5 is already an ideal for me and I would purchase that even if there was no update.

The poll is interesting so far. 27% of people are either moving to Android, or will make that decision after the release. A very vocal minority!

Will be buying the iPhone 5s 128gb model ASAP please as I have bought every iPhone to date <3. They play well with my note 2 (long list of android phones !!) will also be getting the note 3, nexus 5 and htc one max (unless it comes to sprint only smh!!! Love technology baby!!

Well if you have a 5, you don't really "need" and upgrade do you?

I guess if you're a developer though.

My impression of ios 7 is visually nice, but ultimately the same. I think the cleaner graphics will win some people over, but then they'll get it and realize its pretty much the same old ios. Do you agree?

Nope. Control Center changed the game for me.

I'm definitely upgrading. Should've upgraded last year, but had to wait. I'm super excited.
