If the "good for winter" part is true, then it's got to be the AppleTV. People indoors and watching more TV during the colder months. There's been code for the new AppleTV spotted in OS updates and even new product icons.

Headphones are good for anytime of the year. Maybe even more so for warmer weather when you're out and about. Otherwise a HomePod would be better for the winter months spent at home.

nope, we still believe airpods studio with rumored heated left and right earpieces
its more for winter and something brand new that no other headphones has it

I don’t think anyone has confirmed AirPods Studio. A few months back a couple of people (including Mark Gurman) said that the AirPods Studios were delayed.

Ok I’ll keep waiting for Apple TV, but please make sure it comes as a gaming machine with m1 chip once you have the m2 ready for your computers.

I hate to mock the mockup but this thing' looks cold and butt ugly! Heck, I can count on one ear how often I would use something like that. I would much rather see a new AppleTV with a remote that doesn't feel like a wet Grunion. My non-4K version is so old that I named it Dino. 🦖
No, it looks good.

All those leakers have in the past 24 hours pointed to the headphones

I suppose it’s possible, they did announce the AirPods Pro via a press release. I just thought they would want to show these off at an event. I guess we will see later today.

Hopefully it’s not more overpriced crap like Apple TV. The latest Chromecast ****s all over ATV at a third of the price, has a quality remote, and isn’t running out dated apps.

As somebody who does music production and often uses headphones when moving to/from a studio or abroad where it’s not feasible to take my studio monitors, I can’t see the pull with these. They are bound to be hyped to hell in the low region and no doubt will be £4-500+. For that money you can buy a decent pair of BeyerDynamic or Audio Technica and still have money left.

I think Apple need to rethink when they use the word “Pro” and the word “Studio” as it means something different to people who actually are pro and actually work in a studio.

You must be forgetting the original AirPods we’re released right before Christmas in 2016. And they were the hottest gift instantly

Ahhh, actually you are the one forgetting. The original AirPods were slated to launch in October 2016, but we’re delayed until around the Christmas time frame in 2016. Hence, consumers knew they were coming, which is why they gained so much hype and popularity right around Christmas. It’s not like Apple spontaneously just released the 2016 AirPods in December, in which case, the studio headphones have not had an original launch date like the original AirPods did.

So I side @odHbo on this one, and I don’t think Apple with launch the studio headphones right before Christmas.

You haven’t heard how they sound yet, no one has outside of Apple. At least wait until they are released. I think they will sound good, the AirPods Pro sound good to me and they are smaller (so imagine what they can do with more room and bigger headphones)

personally I’m not so sure they will be released/announced today. I think next year but i guess we will see later today (1:30pm here in the U.K.)

For someone who does music production you don’t seem particularly up to par with what Apple’a latest audio products tend to measure like in the bass department.

Same applies to the Beats Solo Pro BTW which among current ANC BT over or on ears headphones is among the most restrained ones in the lower frequencies.

Inasmuch as I find the use of “pro” or “studio” ridiculous, I don’t see why one would use any pair of Beyers or AT these days for anything critical in the studio either given that none of these brand have ever managed to produce something with a decent FR curve.
