I ordered 38 stainless steel with milanese loop. I also just ordered the green sport band.

Love your bracelets!

So fun to see!
I posted the idea for charms on the open Milanese lug and utter silence swallowed the idea of transitioning "silver" to gyellow gold like my personal jewelry.

Edit: yep this is rose gold but you know what I mean! #

I have to dress up for work every day, so I started with the 38 mm ss milanese loop. I also preordered the pink sport for weekends. I'm planning on getting a modern buckle too, but they aren't available.

The watch looks great. I ordered the 38mm SS with light pink modern buckle. Not due to ship til June unfortunately. I'm going to pick up a white sport band later to use for fitness activities.

Tried 38mm Milanese loop, sport, and modern buckle. Also tried a 42mm just to confirm it was too big for me. Sport was a little to chunky for my taste. Ordered a 38mm ML but I liked the modern buckle a lot too! My bracelet is all the way up my arm because the apple employee would not let me have anything on my wrist next to the watch; oh well!

I loved the modern buckle, definitely on my list to get!!

38 mm SS with a black sports band. SS because I break everything and figure I need the sapphire screen. :D

I'm probably going to get a handful of different bands over time (Apple bands: I'm still thinking about them pending thoughts on forward compatibility). I also have my eye on a band adapter with a red leather band with a stainless steel buckle. Because red.

Do you have a picture of the bottom side of your wrist wearing the modern buckle? How did the modern buckle feel? I'm asking because I bought the 38mm stainless with black modern buckle as a surprise wedding gift for my fiancée. Was the modern buckle your favorite as far as feel and looks?

Here you go! I've really liked the Milanese loop since the March keynote, but if it hadn't worked out IRL I would definitely go for the Modern buckle as my close second choice. It is very light! After the classic buckle, it is the next lightest band option. It hardly felt like there was anything on my wrist. It is not a thick piece of leather, and the buckle halves *feel* very fragile when unclasped, but it is probably just because it is lightweight. FWIW I only spent a couple minutes with this band style so take my experience with a grain of salt. I will wait for cheaper third-party leather options later :p

For reference my wrist is 137mm

42mm stainless steel with milanese! Thinking of picking up the classic buckle as well.

I LOVE chunky watches. My wrist is 152-155mm somewhere in there and this picture is the stainless w/milanese.

I posted in another thread, but I don't think any women noticed it…

How do you think the ion-x glass will fare when bracelets are worn?

This is something I've wondered as well. As long as the bracelets aren't sliding over the face of the watch I would think it would be fine. I usually wear several bracelets stacked like this and don't see damage to my other jewelry. The watch face itself sat a little higher than the bracelets, so hopefully will be out of the way enough.

I loved it when I tried it on as well. It felt really secure though, and I loved how understated and neutral the soft pink band was. Also, my wrist is about the exact same mm as yours.

I ordered the 38mm SS with the Milanese Loop. I have small arms and wrists and so I think the 42mm would look ridiculous on me. I have not been to try on. I normally wear a lot of bangles / bracelets on my left wrist but think I shall just wear the :apple: on it's own.

My favourite was this beautiful red modern buckle which comes exclusively with the Edition. But I would not be able to afford the Edition, so second in line is soft pink (which I ordered) and Midnight blue (which I also might order later).

It felt great, really nice quality leather. Very thin band too (a lot of people on these forums complain that bands are too thin - thin bands are a good thing in my opinion).

The thing I didn't like was that the clasp mechanism felt clumsy and it does have a bit of a learning curve to it.

I do believe that Apple's great wealth, ego and masterful spin control will dictate they go on record declaring the watch a huge success no matter what happens after the honeymoon period and initial sales to their faithful.

At that point the company will be desperate for women to accept and buy in quantities. If women are not put off, just like many men will be, with frequent nagging although adjustable alerts, a display too tiny to enjoy much and a complex UI, then the Apple Watch will have the start Apple is counting on. Men alone aren't going to be enough.

The Apple Watch is destined for success, the only question is how much will it cost Apple to make it so.

Thanks for that input!

I ordered the White Sport for my wife, and she commonly wears 2-3 of these Yurman things along with the occasional tennis bracelet.

In hind-sight I probably should have gone with the Stainless Steel watch.

Thank you so much! Looks elegant for sure. Modern, but classy. I like the fact you can't really see how it fastens. Thank you :)

Thank you!! Perfect!! You're making me feel a lot better about my purchase for her. :)
Did the clasp feel secure?

I loved the red too,but like you,it's out of my price range. Lol. I got her the SS with black modern buckle.

I would love to see a charm-bracelet type band for the Watch. With this exact charm attached. :)

Just noticed I tightened the band a bit too much... By the way, tightening and loosening the modern buckle is done in a very inventive way, loved it.

Yes, the clasp felt secure. In fact, Apple Store employees allowed me to try to tear it off my arm from under the clasp. I wasn't able to do so! To be fair however, I didn't try too hard.

Since I've posted all my other photos I might as well post the sport photo too....

As much as I liked the idea of the sport band I like to wear my watches right at the distal part of my wrist, and I have a big bony spot that it just wouldn't sit correctly over. The ML, being mesh and more flexible, molded better.

Thank you for answering my questions.... I feel a lot better. All of your pictures look great by the way... Hope you get your watch soon!

Oh yeah, I think those will be fine. I like those Yurman things, too. ;) The SS was really nice, but I think the Sport will be just fine!

Don't forget your nails, ladies! Lol!
In anticipation of receiving my 38mm White sport, I got my nails done...crazy, I know!
