I have tried 3 nights in a row...and cannot get it to sync data.

Even time I open the app on the phone I see the watch try to save and the iPhone app crashes.

I have restarted both my phone and watch.

IOS beta 3 and watch OS 1.0.1

Is that iOS 9 beta 3? I believe that seems to be the problem. I am seeing with others.

Very sorry for the trouble, I had not looked into iOS 9 yet. I believe that is the center of the problem. I will try to get an update out soon, hopefully it can be fixed.

It's not your fault, we chose to download a iOS that's not out yet, we know you'll get it updated and don't feel we are upset, most apps don't support iOS 9 yet since its not out for a few more months :) we appreciate all your doing

Agreed... running Beta is our fault not yours :)

I have submitted an update which I believe amends the iOS 9 Public Beta incompatibility.

The update also includes a couple weekly charts for better data visualization.

Sweet, I guess once approved it will just show up as a update automatically in the app store update section?

Yes it will appear as a normal update, however I will recommend for iOS 9 users to then delete the app and reinstall the updated version.

In my numerous tests it seemed that in iOS 9 heart rates are saved to Health differently. Hopefully that is the fix, thank you for those on iOS 9 Beta letting me know :)

I'll download it as soon as I see the update and try it out, thanks for all the work

I was checking to see if you had any updates yet on when Apple is expected to review your update, I am excited to try it :)

Still waiting for review , unfortunately they couldn't expedite my review either (probably because the app was iOS 9 crash related). However it seems online the average review wait time is 6 days, I submitted it on Tuesday, so I would expect if all goes well on their side it should be by early next week ready for sale.

On a similar note here is a roadmap for the app this summer:
1.01 • Fix for iOS 9 Beta Users • New Bar Charts to View your Weekly Trends in You Slept, Fell Asleep, and Mean Bpm
1.02 • Simpler Syncing!! Saving directly from your Watch will not be mandatory for those with sync troubles
1.03 • Step's Activity at Night, Do you Sleep Walk??, Trend Chart - How much do you sleep on average per day of the week?
1.1 • Better Data Presentation - See all your nights in a larger view
2.0 • Motion Tracking, Vibration to Wake, Sleep Talking, and Snore Vibration? - Currently looking into the possibilities for watchOS 2

I reverted back to iOS 8.4 last night and the app worked perfectly last night and synced this morning. I am not sure yet on how to read the graph yet, going to review it tonight but I guess in spike is heart beat must mean I woke up? lol. I start it as soon as I get in bed so it starts to measure at that point but I dont fall asleep for about 30-40 minutes usually after so it thinks I slept from the time I pushed the sleep button when I didnt lol :)

You have to manually enter your asleep time

It's done after you enter the data from watch to phone, but before you save on the phone

Gotcha, I guess when I see the spike I show in the picture above that I posted, that must mean I woke up for a minute or two. Very cool

Yes Brett1203, generally based on studies (not mine of course ) the human heart drops about 8% upon entering deep sleep. However, because of varying human heart health I decided it would be more "safer" to allow the user to manually drag along the initial sync graph selected where they see their heart rate drop rather than based on an algorithm. I demonstrate it at :43 seconds in the help youtube video.

Also generally that spike probably shows something even cooler I think at least, I go more into detail under the "Dreams" insight in the app under the more tab, but essentially that is you during REM cycle which also stands for "Rapid Eye Movement" -- during this time of your sleep your body actually leaves full paralysis and like it is called your eyes actually rapidly move. This stage is when dreams or nightmares occur. So you didn't fully "wake" but you left full sleep to enter some dream world :D.

Also for those waiting on iOS 9 support, my update is still "Waiting for Review"-- hopefully soon...

Wow....great roadmap.

Can't wait for the update so I can start using it.....thanks again

So FYI, they rejected my update because I mentioned "Pre-Release Software" in the metadata's description..... Luckily they didn't require me to submit a new binary, hopefully they can review it again quickly and not have me wait another 6 days....
