I'd have to disagree on the S versions being small bumps. I think we see bigger bumps with the S versions. 3GS from 3G was noticeable improvement. 4 from 3GS performance was little improvement except for the retina display. 4S from 4 was by far the largest difference of them all. 5 from 4S was meh.

Biggest from 4S to 5 was the screen which was more importatant to me, Camera, Battery, Screen are the things I look for and I agree the 4s was great but the 5 had a .5 bigger screen made a big diff for me

I'm really tempted to switch ... at least until the iPhone 6 .. i just can't stand how small the screen is anymore .. even though i am heavily invested into apple ecosystem .. with iTunes etc .. I might just give my 5s to my mother to use until the 6 comes out since she broke her screen .. and ill pick up an htc one or note 3

Bolded is the biggest thing.

I wasn't really that interested in a taller screen (text size remains the same). And the 4S has had great software support due to internal changes over the 4. The only software it lacks of any merit is slow mo and airdrop neither of which are important to me.

THAT SAID, I'll be picking up the next iPhone because my 4S is just old and I doubt it will last till the 6S.

Tried the LG G2 for a week and sold my Iphone 5s, it's that good.

except that the camera is extremely poor inside compared to the 5S. outside it is fine, but inside it is like it's some Chinese knockoff part. Everything looks crazy grainy and the front facing camera turns nearly useless in comparison to the 5S.

now the screen... simply incredible

So I tried this yesterday with a Nexus 5...tonight, she's back in the box heading back to Google. And I've restored my 5S that I was planning to sell.

There's nothing wrong with the N5, it's a great phone but android just isn't for me. It's a shame that it took me buying the GS4 last summer and the N5 this week to learn that iOS, wIth all it's limitations and annoyances, is where I want to be.

So no, I wouldn't, but I tried! :D

That's funny. Care to elaborate why? You only had the N5 for one day!

Bit dumb to only try something for one day tbh.

I will stick with my iPhone thanks, some android phones are pretty nice bits of kit, Sony Z1 and the HTC One and M8 but the OS, urgh, no thanks, I don't do google anything.

I'm pretty good at judging quickly whether I like something or not. You generally know when navigating around the interface on a mobile phone if you like the flow of it or not. Android isn't to everybody's tastes much like iOS clearly isn't either. I didn't play with an iPhone for long before I realised I preferred it to the Galaxy S3 I was using at the time. We don't always have the luxury of having time with a device either, so quick concise decisions can often pay off. I've driven cars and known straight away that it wasn't a nice drive or the gear box was clunky. Having more time doesn't always change one's mind. We all have different needs and our opinions are subjective :)

I love my 4s but since Apple took away the full screen picture call ID .. I might be switching.. I'm due for an upgrade now but waiting to see if they fix this!
Hard to see the little small circle picture to see who's calling.. And screen is already small.
Anxious for iPhone 6 hoping screen a little bigger and full screen photo ID back

Just look at the name of the caller! I would hardly call this a dealbreaker and a need to switch platforms.

I do but text small also.. There are several forums about this hundreds upset so not just me!

I certainly appreciate why you're annoyed about it, I was just saying that it shouldn't be a dealbreaker. There will be plently more things to be annoyed about with Android.

Would you trade your iphone for any android phone ? Only serious answers please , no arguments needed just honest opinions !

I wouldn't trade mine. The entire family uses iPhones and iPads so I need to have an iPhone for iMessage and FaceTime. I do, however, carry multiple phones at the same time one of which is an Android (Motorola Moto G).

I think now with the introduction of a 4.7" iphone the real question is ..how many androids people will come to iOS ?
