Ok, so humans are humans, BUT can you please clarify:
So if baltar hasn't defected, then he/she appears as a normal human?
Either Athena gets more information than that, or we're being lied to by DP.
yesterday jav was on the verge of lynching. tied with koodauw in a very fluid situation with koodauw who could have doomed it with his own vote (jav also was not active in this, but i think because he wasn there).
in any case if he was a cylon, his brothers could have easily helped him out, without it appearing very suspicious. but nobody did.
there are, IMO, 3 likely explanationfor this
1. jav is not a cylon
2. jav is cylon #12 and not connected, so the other cylons didn't know him for a brother
3. jav is a connected cylon, but his brothers were already voting for koodauw, so there were no other votes to be moved. this is in my opinion less likely, BUT, if it turn out to be that Jv is a cylon other than #12, then at least one of plutonus, tomorrow or SilentPand is also a cylon
An Athena scan of Baltar will get "human, but sense that he's helping the Cylons" line whether he defected or not. Yes, that's an exception to the "no roles" scan.
It is no secret when he *does* defect anyway.
even before defection, balthar appeared as a human, but with traitorous inclinations. Not verbatim, but it was very unequivocal.

what proof could anyone offer? either you believe me or you don't.
chris and moyank could confirm the are humans, but they would anyway even if they weren't, and i doubt sythas is going to confirm he is balthar.

It's nice that I've been cleared and am a safe protection target, but I'm also an increased cylon target since I can't be incriminated for lynching, so I don't expect to be around many more rounds.
So you say when you posted last night that it would be dangerous for the Cylons to out themselves as specials because Athena could scan them, you...acted as if you don't know how your role works out exactly?
As I said I (tend to) believe you, and if this goes to hell I'll glady take off my hat because that would have been an amazing game by you two.
Also, what I said about Sythas and being killed earlier was completely wrong. #12 is the one who isn't killed at night, not the Baltar. They can easily kill Sythas whenever they want, or it will be announced if/when he defects and we have an easy lynch target. So, he's basically a normal villager or a specialist, depending on how you want to look at it. Also just as viable a cylon target as the other people DP cleared, but also protectable via Starbuck since he's still human.

but with twietee (only if he uses the shot to confirm his status) and myself, there are 4 good guys that starbuck, if she is around, can protect safely.
and they can only kill 1.
in principle i should be #1 target, but that also depends on their assessment of the hunter move and if they maybe want to put together a discrediting strategy against me, thus keeping me alive so people don't believe and lynch me.
and i will be a cylon when i am dead.

actually, you are right in that.
i initially thought my role was that of a 'normal' seer, and thus believed i would see the roles as well. i hadn't re-read the rules carefully and then actually asked ravenvii for clarification. I also had missed that there will be an announcement of balthar turning until you pointed it out in the thread. it's just that it took so long for the game to start, and then it started when i was on so went on autopilot based on the more common version.

There's 0 reason to not believe. Everyone is revealed to be human or cylon upon death. No cylon deaths yet, so Athena is still out there.
Given that Athena is still out there, it would be ridiculous for you to impersonate the seer if you're a cylon since you could easily be called out by the real seer.
regarding sythas/balthar, he can also be dangerous for us in a couple of days, if we don't kill any bad cylons, as they can turn him to reach controlling majority the next morning
Why would he have known they were Cylons?? He'd to scan them first. But I disagree. Wording it like that would make the specials eventually feel more comfortable to reveal their roles, something the Cylons would love. If you two (I'm assuming here) were bad guys trying to sell us this approach this makes a difference imho.
But we can discuss this later (or never) at length, because I can't see how real proof could be achieved right now. I'm going with Tomorrow. Sorry buddy! Hope you ain't Starbuck...
