Right: An up-dated tally seems to be in order as everyone has actually cast a ballot.

mrkramer: (3): Koodauw, moyank24, Sythas

Moyank24: (3): Scepticalscribe, mrkramer, Don't panic

Sythas: (2): chrmjenkins, WoodNUFC,

chrmjenkins: (1): Plutonius

Techgod: (1): twietee

Twietee: (1): Techgod

Although there is a tie with both Moyank24 and mrkramer tying at three votes each, as mrkramer reached three votes first, he is currently the candidate deemed most likely to be lynched.

MOYANK HAS BEEN LYNCHED BY HER OWN PEOPLE...A VILLAGER!

in an attempt to please all, the nightly deadline will be shortened to 15 hours, so at 12pm (noon) on 1/13 i will need nightly requests in. hope this helps.

Thank you Rick, I think it's better for the pace of the game shorter night like that.

I don't know for the end of the next day tho, if it's too early, but I have no trounle with it.

Oooops. Got that one wrong, then.

I was certain that Moyank was a WW who was flying under the radar; my apologies.

Right, chaps, and chapesses: Five down - Intell, Comeagain, philbeeney, Meister, and now Moyank, and no nearer to finding a WW.

There are three - plus an infected bite, which may mean four, WWS; they also have the kamikaze option. At this stage, I wouldn't hold out much hope for our survival, let alone victory.

By night three? A bit negative, isn't it?

No. Realistic.

Well, we are down to ten, five have been killed and we have not identified - or come close to identifying - a single WW.

So, ten in total, among whom are (possibly) four wolves. Not a good ratio.

Most of the village have been sleep-walking, waiting for the obvious leaders, such as DP - or Plutonius, to take charge.

I'll be honest - I was convinced that Moyank was a WW, and now that it is clear she wasn't, I have to re-think my own strategy (and proffer an apology).

ss is totally right, we need to seriously step up our game.

It's been a pity with yesterdays deadline, but although i feel like i wasted my vote a bit (but c'mon techgod, try to participate some more) I also have to admit that I was suspicious about mo (since ss voted for her day 1) and mr.kramer (still am) and would have most probably voted for her as well.

Let's cross our fingers the hunter is still (and sucessfully) hunting tonight and let's talk about a possible seer-outing come next morning.

What if the seer is infected? We can't trust them. What if the seer is dead and a WW pulls a bluff? Should the village start exposing their roles come tomorrow to prevent the WWs from bluffing?

And unless the hunter is still around and gets lucky by morning it will be down to nine and four wolves, so unless I'm doing the math wrong tomorrow is our last chance to get a wolf before they eat us all.

Firstly, we have had deadline issues - two for now. We can discuss this at the end of the game, but last night's deadline meant that all of the Europeans who remained were not in a position to participate even if something had happened at - or, close to - the deadline to offer a reason to change a vote.

Secondly, there is the usual issue of coasting players: Frankly, these do not help the village, as there is little attempt to share information, or thoughts.

That is a risk of the game. Whatever information exists may ned to be pooled, or rationed, or offered as speculation. Carry on as we are, individual idiots blundering about, error piled upon error, and the passage of one more day and night will see us lost.

Well, in theory, there are three specials. They can't all be infected. However, it is possible that some, or all have met their maker over the past few days.

At this stage, we know that the dead are all villagers. We just don't know what roles, if any, they had.

Re the WWs, there are three, all alive. And, of those three, one can bite, and infect (assuming that the infection is not already in play, which leaves us with four WWs), and one can kill when about to face a lynching. Unless, that is, 1) the target is protected by the hunter, which necessitates that 2) that the hunter - hopefully - still around.

A tall order; not an impossible one. But a tall order, nonetheless.

Back to the present, if DP and Pluntonius are fortunate enough to wake up alive tomorrow, I suggest that they be asked a few questions.

Isn't that delightful...

Well, a little urgency re our predicament might not go amiss.

Agreed. Players missing a vote by accident or beacuse of "real-life" aren't really the problem - lack of participation is the real issue. I'm not pointing fingers (well, I do - so please don't take that too personal but that's just my opinion) but players that post cryptic one-word votes like Meister last game or TechGod who I know is always pumped to play but then often disappears for the better are making themselves way more suspicious than they need to. The reason why I said that was that I can remember TechGod disappearing (openly stating that he'd rather not play anymore as well) in one rather demanding game almost completely. It may be my fault that this always, see comeagain last game, irks me way more than it probably should. In the end, Techgod was neither a ww nor a special (IIRC) so no need to hide at all buddy! Not sure if it's because you're afraid to make a mistake or say something that makes not a lot of sense but don't be! Just take a look at Pluto. :D Or me, if you can't stand looking at him. :p If it's because you're an extremely busy man, well, then it's a pity.

Technically we have six specials - three of those form the Nightwatch. I have my suspicion that they took a hit or two already but may be wrong about that.

@TechGod : Yes, I do believe we should talk outing tomorrow. But definitely not tonight.
[doublepost=1452696975][/doublepost]Also, the final tally had the flaw of two Sythas votes, that's more like it:

Moyank24: (4): Scepticalscribe, mrkramer, Don't panic, sythas

Sythas: (3): chrmjenkins, WoodNUFC, pluto

mrkramer: (2): Koodauw, moyank24

Yes, of course, I forgot about the NW.

I, too, have a horrid suspicion that they have taken a hit - and if they have taken two, that may leave the testimony of whosoever has survived somewhat less credible.

Nevertheless, I think that by tomorrow some sort of information - even if only guardedly, might be usefully shared.

It might be, I don't see why the wolves would have already used the infection, so we probably have at least one day of trusting them, which is what we need.

Not necsssarily - think Undertaker who may confirm / de-confirm some claims - especially about the NW.

Not saying we should just trust anybody blindly outing themselves, of course not, but nobody would do that in the first place. But as it seems right now we seemed to have failed to create some real pressure on the ww so far - at least on the surface. That could be a possibility to change that at least - maybe cause some mistakes on their part. Although that sounds more optimistic than it probably should.

Hard to say. I had my suspicion about Mo being a ww who quite magically caused three votes (four if we include Pluto's wild one - wasn't known at that time) in her favor, all against ss btw, once ss voted for her. That was one angle so far I was thinking about - but also a possible NW. There is another one day 1 though > see votes shifting from ss to comeagain/Intell (unlikely to be NW). If somebody could rule that angle out it'd already help quite a bit, I can't so far.

They cannot have infected everyone.

However, tonight's kill - if kill there is - will further alter the numbers in a rather ominous direction.

Re the infection, yes, using it early is a bold move, but - if it has been used - it puts the WWs in a very strong position.

What do you mean? Where's the difference?

You had sythas pegged twice (his vote for mr.kramer before he changed to moyank). No biggie but I think worth pointing out.
