This game anything like One Night Ultimate Werewolf? I love playing that game with 8+ friends, it's crazy fun.

For those who don't have it and who want a 5 minute party game with some pals, you can actually download the app for free and then just write the player names on some cards if you want (though of course it's best to buy it with the official cards, it's only £15).

I have the card game and the expansion and I agree it's a good time. This is similar to the card game except it's more than one night and there is a day phase. During the day, the players vote on which player to eliminate from the game and, at night, the werewolf team gets to choose who to eliminate. The turns continue with players being eliminated until all the werewolves are dead or until the number of werewolves is equal to / exceeds the number of non werewolves. Lie the card game, we have special player types (seer, hunter, etc.) although we don't have a tanner .

What's a tanner?

Well, I know of two meanings for that word, neither of which - going by the context - are what Plutonius seems to have had in mind. (One is a leather worker, a person who tanned animal hides, an old term for an occupation that goes back at least to the Middle Ages, the other is slang for the old sixpenny piece in the Imperial - i.e. pre-decimal - Sterling currency).
