Well, I am open to considering Moyank, and, while my vote is not set in stone, for now, my vote stands.

The thread tally logging participation certainly makes for interesting reading.

Post totals by the top named four more than double the post tallies of the next four...

I feel like Moyank knows better than to not post when she's a wolf, but I've been wrong about her constantly, so who knows.

those are just the numbers. interpretation is open.

well, it looks like i will have to switch to scepticalscribe for defensive purposes.

current tally

dontpanic: 2 (meister, scepticalscribe)
scepticalscribe: 2 (queenofspades, dontpanic)
melrose: 1 (sythas)
queenofspades: 1 (melrose)
moyank: 1 (twietee)

yet to vote: moyank

I don't even try to read her anymore. :D

Thing is, she was second runner in Day1 (as Sythas for a long time) so if she'd be a wolf that could gain us some badly needed info. I may repeat myself but Moyank stated that she hated to vote for Tomorrow but decided to rather vote for him instead of Sythas. Who actually disappeared after that event. Not saying this is strong stuff but Day one sure was interesting (still thinking of Meister piling on Tomorrow giving him a 2 vote lead out of the blue, nothing strange in itself, then disappears til after 30mins after the deadline. Confused about it later on etc pp.

Not really trying to make a case here as I know as much as you do but I'd rather go after those for example than ss who went way too hard on anjinha to be a wolf in my opinion.

That's good logic, can't argue with any of it. Although, as I said, I don't think she would be so obvious about not posting. It would certainly give us some good intel if she were a wolf, though. I will swap to Moyank24 to let SS off the hook and hopefully summon our favorite yankee sympathizer to join in the fun.

When is the deadline?

Yes, I admit that I did. However, her relative silence roused my suspicions, and was something I felt needed to be pursued, just as - currently - Moyank and DP are setting off every alarm bell that I have.

Can't say that this turn of events gives rise to the slightest degree of surprise. Not in the slightest. Bring it on. Votes, deadlines, and all……..

However, I will repeat that I find the lack of an attempt on your illustrious life - if you are known to be of the non-lupine persuasion - over two nights, (when you could not have been possibly protected both nights), and there was no unsuccessful attempt thwarted to kill, something which may rank as preternaturally fortunate.

As a Seer, I will scan you; as a Hunter I will protect you, and, as a WW, I will do my utmost to neutralise you or otherwise remove you (and yes, I have done all of these things), so the lack of activity around you is……..interesting.

And, oh, yes. For the record, I am a villager….

I wouldn't be that obvious. :D

My erratic posting is more because of life and not the game, though.

Twietee, I know you're stuck on why I voted for Tomorrow and not Sythas. My explanation is simple. I didn't want to vote Sythas out on the first day because he had just run the previous game, and I felt that would be kind of a dick move. And "hating" to vote for Tomorrow is a bit overstated. We're buddies. We never like to vote for our buddies in this game, but at some point we have to bite the bullet. But like I said, I thought getting rid of Sythas that first day would have been kind of mean. And goodness knows I"m sweet as pie. ;)

I have to vote for Don't Panic at this point for self defense.

Also, I'm not a wolf.

The summoner still works! Let's go back over the information we have. rick snagwell was the wolf's choice to kill on night two. What can we determine from this? Is there a chance he came out as seer or hunter to his partner? Is it worth disclosing partners at all?

his partner was meister. they both confirmed this.
he sounded pretty sure meister was clean, so that would argue against that, but he could have been played. doubtful.

Hey Thank you Moyank!

I just want to point out that Melrose did not say is not a wolf....

Regarding the deadline, we don't actually have one, neither a story for the day.

Hmmm. What else can we re-examine here? Everyone's said they're innocent (obviously), we've lynched nothing but villagers, and we have know special knowledge. Why is it doubtful rick could have been played?

Plutonius was my partner - he and I had not even exchanged a single PM before he got munched.

Now, I know - none better - that real life can indeed compel attention in other spheres - but, a question does remain, and it is this: Not a single solitary - even a brief fleeting introductory PM - in a full - and rather lengthy - Day and an even longer Night? Seriously?

I ask - merely because I do recall, in the mists of time, granted, an earlier occasion, when, having served on the same team, some variant of the NW, as it happened, with the late Plutonius……..And um, we did manage to conduct a brisk and exemplary comradely exchange of PMs……before death, (in the form of a foul and unjust lynching) removed me from the fray.

My exchange with Tomorrow :

Me : So..... got picked up as a wolf again?

Tomorrow : Maybe. ;)

then he was lynched

Sigh. Beckett would have been proud of you. That is a dialogue worthy of a place in 'Waiting for Godot'.

----------

i'll let my partner decide if he wants to go public.

A topic best discussed privately between partners, I agree, before revelations are made.

Unless, that is, there is a sad case where a tragically slaughtered predeceased was a partner…...

Yup, Seriously. Plutonius and I have been paired in the NW before, additionally, we've exchanged PMs a couple of times for other reasons (we both happen to be Red Sox fans). I think it was merely a combination of day 1 being a throw away with nothing to truly discuss, and the two of us being a little busy on that day 1.

Anyway, that's the truth and there's nothing nefarious behind it. I planned to PM him the evening he met his unfortunate demise. Not sure about communication on his end.

Moyank.

Buddy!

My thoughts are these: Stupidity is what does the villagers in. The more we know, the more we have to go on when analyzing votes. Of course, none of us know if our teammate is a carnivore, but it still at least provides some insight into possible innocent voting patterns.

well put.

the last pair is twietee-SS

This is wild! There's other kids! Like us!

My partner's thought buzzed in the background of mine.

Yes, I sent back. I have much better control over my thoughts than he does.

But they're like the adults! I can't read their thoughts!

Me neither, I lied.

Actually, it wasn't much of a lie, considering there is only one another I could converse with, out of 10 teenagers he could see standing around the gallows.

The morning was like any other. Breakfast was brought to our room. Then Dr. Fischer came to ask us about our day, how we were feeling, all that ********. My partner lapped it up. I only acted.

Then things changed. Two doctors that we've never met before, came into our room, all smiles, bringing friendly-sounding words. "Come with us, you've got some exciting days ahead of you!"

From the "other" voice in my head, this same scenario has occurred to him -- or her, I could never really tell -- and his -- or her -- partner moments earlier.

I determined long ago that my partner does not hear the second voice. And I never bothered to share this with him.

The doctors escorted us down several nondescript hallways, and finally through double doors... outside.

Or so we thought. Turned out it was an elaborate setup of a medieval village, complete with fake sunlight and... a gallows. "Have fun! You can do whatever you want! Live in one of the houses! Have a great time!" the beaming doctors said as they shut the doors and locked it from the inside.

********, I let the thought slip into my partner's. Partners'. I could see my second partner staring at me.

Let's kill them, the thought came. Sure, I wonder what it's like, came the reply.

***

I stared into Tomorrow's eyes as his body rocked back and forth hanging from the rope. So that's what a dead person looks like.

It was unbelievable how easy it was. A whispered word here, a accusation there. And it just went from there, the blaming, the finger-pointing, the mob.

And the gallows.

I wonder if the doctors placed it there for this purpose?

***

We watched as the blood flowed out of Plutonius. Guarding his thoughts against his partner, and opening them to my... second partner has became increasingly easy. He suspected nothing. He thought I am still sleeping, not staring at a river of blood.

This is fun, we thought in unison.

***

The second lynching, this time of anjinha was even easier. Someone had to pay for Plutonius's death, and anjinha did it.

Or to be more precise, we convinced them that anjinha did it.

Who do we kill tonight? I ask.

rick snagwell! I was looking at the grass when he walked past. It annoyed me.

Alright, why not?

***

It is now DAY 3.
