If by hot you mean awesome, yes!

Okay you be awesome. But you can't be both so that means I'll be hot.

....actually, the only thing I get is 'cute'. Not handsome, not studly, not hot. 'Cute'. Yuk. :( :D

and on that note methinks I'm off the for the night. Old BBC Scotland shows to re-watch.

Since there hasn't been much happening "today", should we revisit the idea of the Oracle asking about three people? Failing that, would it be advisable for the necromancer to revive any of our dead members this early?

I know it's a long game with this many people, so ignore me if my questions are too early, but it might be useful to get us a bit more information.

Sorry to detract from the flow of the game (and if GG deems this as too far off-base, feel free to report me), but has anyone thought of running a WW from a Star Wars perspective? With VII coming out this year, it seems like it could be a fun time to do such a game. Between the Empire and the Rebels, as well as many different character options already set out by the Star Wars universe, I think it would be a blast. Put Sith lords as the werewolks (*shiver*) and have them infect by convincing others to "join the dark side", Jedi Master as the Oracle, etc, etc. Could be pretty exciting :)

And now, back to the game!

If we do have an oracle, than certainly it would be helpful if a question was asked today, although, as mentioned by plutonius earlier, it would be good to have a round of vote first, so we don't waste a day information-wise.
However, a lot of people seem to be extremely shy on that front
The oracle could also way another day, in order to ask a more informed question but the main drawback there is that they could die, and thus we lose the question, and that we would have an extra day of semi-random voting
As far as the necromancer a similar argument would suggest not to wait too long

I wish to re-read the last few pages of posts, and study the voting log (which is the least likely source which may yield useful information but it is all that is out in the public domain for now), before voting.

Given the time difference, I knew when I headed off last night, that I would have plenty of time to post - and cast a vote - today.

Thus far, - and I have checked my own scrawled log, and DP's table - it seems that the voting record is, as follows:

Four people are on two votes, while I am on one and QoS has registered a no-vote.

Of those on two, the list reads as follows:

Tomorrow: (2): - Plutonius, Ravenvii

Rick Snagwell: (2): Don't Panic, Melrose

Koodauw: (2): Fenris Moonlight, Intell

Intell: (2): Sythas, TechGod.

No-Vote: (1): Queen of Spades

Scepticalscribe: (1): Koodauw

Moyank: (1): Rick Snagwell

DP: Post No 285, Sythas voted for Intell; this appears to have been overlooked.

Anyway, among those yet to vote are myself, Tomorrow, Comeagain, Moyank, anjinha, and WoodNUFC.

Obviously, I am not about to vote for myself. DP doesn't feature on this list, so calling for his continued survival is moot. Likewise, while I would be interested to hear more from her, Moyank with one vote, does not merit further scrutiny at this stage.

However, Tomorrow does feature on this list. He tends to be killed early and is also an excellent strategist (if on the side of Good); I'd rather learn more before joining an attempt to slaughter him. He has explained why he was absent earlier and stated that he wouldn't be around for a few days; I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Intell has also attracted two votes, as have Koodauw and Rick. In general, rick is visible, and posting - and, as of now - I don't really see him as a 'Wolk' (or wolf).

That leaves it between Koodauw and Intell.

Intell, I know little about, although he is an experienced pair of eyes. I know little which would tilt me either towards assuming guilt, or innocence, for now. More information would be welcome.

Koodauw has voted for me twice; for now - badmindeness on my part, perhaps, but while they say that to err is human (and to forgive divine), I'll admit to my erring humanity and stress how far I am from a state of divinity. For now, in the absence of a stunning defence (which I will heed if it is presented): Koodauw.

And, no: No Smokey-Bear ads visible here

Just a heads up, I'm working pretty much all day most days (Pacific) without any sort of technology with me. So my posts will be a bit sporadic.

But for now, no vote until we see more how things play out tonight. We still have quite a while, correct?

Yes, apparently, we do.

I mistook the day, - assuming that the deadline was today, rather than tomorrow, but no matter.

My vote is not cast in stone anyway, but will stand, for now.

I don't seem to be able to update the googlodoc from the phone anymore, so that will have to wait till i get my hands on a computer (but remember it is an open doc so if you see a mistake, just go ahead and fix it).
It is koodauw at 4 right? With may be 4-5 people left to vote and a couple of no-votes :frowns:
Still almost a full day, so plenty of time for changes

Koodauw currently has four votes: Fenris Moonlight, Intell, myself and Tomorrow.

At present, there are two no-votes: Queen of Spades, and ComeAgain?. I don't have the post numbers to hand.

The remainder - as in remaining tallies - are unchanged.

Updated votes - puts Koodauw well in the lead. Seems voting for Sceptical isn't working out well for him.

Koodauw: 4 FenrisMoonlight, Intell, Scepticalscribe, Tomorrow
Intell: 2 Sythas, TechGod
rick snagwell: 2 Don't panic, Melrose
Tomorrow: 2 Plutonius, ravenvii
no vote: 2 Queen of Spades, Comeagain?
Moyank24: 1 rick snagwell
Scepticalscribe: 1 Koodauw

Yet to vote: Moyank24, anjinha, WoodNUFC

Definitely a lot of time left, so if you do I'd certainly be willing to listen.

I'm beginning to wonder if we've unluckily already lost the oracle.
Possible, but they could be waiting longer, they could be wolf, and It wasn't 100% sure to be there in the first place
We should just assume it's not there , and treat it as a bonus if they show up

@Scepticalscribe , do you think you are going to make it a couple days after stating we should wait for that?

To be honest, I have no idea. I suspect possibly not.

However, there are a number of roles where the slow incremental gathering of information means that one is better informed (and thus, more useful) after a few days than after one or two. The, the task becomes a race - a race between time (as each day/night grants enables
further information to be gathered), and nefarious wolfish, or, 'wolkish', intervention - as they strive to ensure such information is not made readily available, - and your own, or, one's own, instincts as to when it is most timely to reveal one's hand.
