Hm.

Firstly, commiserations to Astroboy, it is rotten to be voted off first, especially if you are an innocent villager - and I had no real doubts on that score.

Secondly, needless to say, despite my unexpected popularity, I am rather glad not have been dispatched via tumbril to the scaffold just yet. Thirdly, I most sincerely hope that the late Astroboy did not hold one of the utterly vital powers of the village……..

All of which brings us now - to a Night that is actually a Day, as normal nocturnal activities will be carried out under a somewhat less muted light than usual.

And, finally, twietee, our GG, excellent narration and very well done.
 
Cool format twietee. Sorry astroboy. I feel bad when someone who hasn't played in a long time gets voted out first day.

i dig the vintage look (although it is a bit hard to read on the phone).

can we get the full official vote tally?

sorry to see a newish player go on day 1, but on the other hand, he could have used is own vote to save/protect himself, so he is at least co-responsible

Not fully official but here's the latest count according to the thread - should be correct unless any special used their ability - unlikely on day 1. Everyone voted except for Tomorrow. Guess we'll find out why Tomorrow!

Astroboy was 2 votes ahead by the end so couldn't have saved himself.
 
so lets see what we got so far. usually there is a wolf in the pack, if the first death is a villager.

i doubt intell is a wolf, piling on a villager would be a stupid and obvious wolfy thing to do.

thanks fenris.
the main reason i wanted the official tally is exactly to see if any special ability was used.
the fact that in the end didn't matter it is not necessarily essential.
if one of the people at risk was a WW, and if one of the WW's special abilities was being able manipulate votes, they might well have used them on day one.
and that would most likely be reflected in the official vs. apparent tally, since use cannot be retracted.

Yes, I figured it would be probably difficult to read on the phone (but it's only the narration, so you don't have to in order to keep up with the game). I'll keep on doing it this way, since I like it :D and it somewhat give a good visual break so you know when a new cycle starts.

I have to somewhat minimize work where possible as I'm a lazy gg so no full vote tallys. Seriously not enough time at hand. Glad when I can keep up with who's actually lynched. ;)

Last thing and then I'm back on my comfy gg couch: deadlines could be longer for the lynching-cycle at least, no? With that many players it isn't such a bad thing I guess; at least at the beginning.
 
That sounds as though it might be a good idea - even though I find myself rather regrettably - in that list.

It will be interesting to see who is cleared - if any - and who is not.

Moreover, the "night's" activities should leave some of us, at least, with some fresh or further information.

Howver, do please bear in mind that - as of now - we have there wolks (or wolves) along with the possibility of an infection being deployed later, strategically. And also, bear in mind that it is quite likely that there will be a further death by 'tomorrow' morning.

While I doubt Intell is a wolf (or wolk), I have no proof that he is not, and neither have I proof of the loyalty or orientation (wolf or villager) of any of the others - including rick - who may have voted for Astroboy. In the case of myself - and, I suspect - Intell - it was a defensive vote, designed to save ourselves.

See above. but what exactly do you mean with full vote count? You did realize the vote count: 5 under the Astroboy was a villager line? I won't have time to write down ALL the vote counts for every single member of the cast in the thread.

Nope - you were incorrect in saying you'd forced a tie. Not like you to miss a vote - guessing you missed that TechGod's vote for Astroboy was a switch from Intell.

i like the look, i think it works great. just not on the phone with my old eyes. maybe you can just increase the contrast of the text a bit.

If you are not giving full counts, then you should tell us if -and which- votes were affected. that simplifies the task but it might seem slightly unfair to the WW. i thought giving an official count at the end of the lynching period would be the most impartial way to do it, but at the end we would always know anyway so probably would not make any difference.

Well, if you re-read the thread you'll be able to see the exact sequence of events; I was the third to vote for Astroboy; his first two votes were from rick and Moyank. Subsequent to my vote, then Techgod switched his vote to vote for Astroboy, stating that he wished to save me, and finally, Intell, to save himself, also further switched, making it a total of five votes for Astroboy. The voting log also shows these votes.

So, no, you didn't actually force a tie; now, I'll grant that this new system means that you need to concentrate while posting (and counting); the only reason I caught it all is that 1) I was online and the time, and 2) as someone whose name was also in lights, I was motivated to stay around and keep a close eye on how things turned out.

as mentioned above, you could just repost the last valid tally from the thread and adjust it to the last votes and possible modifiers.
just the number of votes of the lynched person is not enough. we can count votes in the thread ourselves (especially with fenris wizardry), but not the modifiers

or you can just tell us what the difference, if any, from the thread count.
for example: dontpanic received 1 extra vote, or dontpanic received 1 less vote.
of course you shouldn't give any specifics on how the change came about, but the effects of a vote modifications are public at the deadline.

Did you sneak that into your Official [WW] Thread I was linking? Ugh. No kidding, I can do that, but I possibly can't rely on Fenris' wizardry (not because I think it's not great of course, but you know...) or you vote counts (you remember those from Meister). So, yea, will give it a thought. If you insist I'll do that but it'll definitely mean longer cycles as it's hard to keep up right now already.

Or are you just deflecting 'cause you played it like a fool today ;)

Be nice now :D. Just copy and edit (if necessary) Fenris' list onto the end of your description.
 
Let's give it a quick discussion at the other thread as I would like to keep this as 'clean' as possible.

And btw, a comment and DPs or anybody's playstyle is purely cosmetic and nothing but comedy and has no value whatssover.
