Note - If WoodNUFC is a WW, your votes should put you in the mostly clear category.

I tell you the truth, I have been actively shipping supplies for this rebellion for years! When you look at the weapons in your hands think of me -- the rebellion's leading arms smuggler. I'm very protective of my friends, and provide dangerous delivery services for my fellow rebels.

That was a lot of reading and catching up. All I can say in my defence is that I switched votes to touch when the band wagon was forming and I randomly voted for him at the start of the game.

Specialist Roles

When you use your specialist power, please do not reveal it to everyone (just tell "Don't Panic"). The reason for this is the WW need to kill off the seer to have a chance of winning and if they know your role, they are one closer to killing the seer.

I'm also not too sure of SS's idea that everyone should reveal their power just before they die because one of the WWs is probably the Kendra. It might help knowing what powers the Kendra might take but, I think it would cause us much more trouble in that it will tell the Kendra which power is present that they can grab.

Also, don't be afraid to use your powers when the time is right. I would much rather have us use the one-shot powers instead of the Kendra.

That depends on the loyalty of the Kandra; if, however, the Kandra is an Inquisitor, obviously, the power/powers could well be used in a negative way.

However, my advice was tendered with the view of ensuring that we, as a group, would know what power had been availed of, so that if this same power appeared wielded under another circumstance, that questions of the wielder could legitimately be asked.

One further thing about the Kandra; it is clear from the way the creature is constructed that night time activity is almost an impossibility for it; this is when it alters form, and the process of ingesting a fresh form will take the night, which precludes any nocturnal activity. Thus means, if the Kandra is altering form, or exploring different forms nightly, that much of the time, the Kandra will not operate at night.

Thus, for now, while the Kandra explores remains until it finds a suitably powerful set to inhabit for longer than a day or two, we can expect to see Kandra activity restricted to the daylight hours.

Re identification of the dead, it is a judgement call, which may depend on timing and the nature of the deceased. My instincts suggest that it might not be a bad idea to let much of the information into the open, so that eliminations and cross-checkings can occur, it may also be prudent to stay silent at times, or, for a time, if the information acquired is deemed to be too sensitive to share immediately.

yes.

Whaddup??

Revealing roles is always a double edged sword. It definitey helps us narrow the field in terms of finding bad guys, but it also helps narrow down the field for the bad guys as well.

This early in the game, I'm of the mind that we don't share. If we go on a streak where we lynch good guy after good guy, it may be worth it, but killing of a baddie the first day has bought us a few more IMO.

I agree 100%. The main reason I voted for him was because he was the runner up in the previous vote. If he was a WW, we would have gotten lots of voting trending info based on the number of votes for and against him. That is the reason why I'm voting for woodNUFC next turn (a bonus is that he is on the red list). Note - If WoodNUFC is a WW, your votes should put you in the mostly clear category.

I also agree with you on player activity. The less active players are almost always the WW. However, I wouldn't clear people based on them being active.

How should the list be changed ? Move you and SS to orange ? Anything else ?

In case you're still waiting for an answer: no idea. :D
I, as did ss, was just pointing out that your chart should be read with a grain of salt.

As for futuristic votes, no comment until Day3.

About your grizzly revelations from diggin' up graves, I'd agree with ss and Moyank. Your judgement call entirely, choose wisely. :)

MORNING 3

They woke up under a deep layer of thick ash.
Everywhere, from the natural stone pit that had housed the now-extinguished fire, to what were likely the waking bodies of the 15 remaining companions, there laid a uniform, unshapely, dark-gray curtain.
A weak light was trying to break through the mix of ash and rolling mists, without much success.
QueenofSpades, long-established habits hard to break, was rekindling the fire to prepare some sort of morning brew.
Plus, she still had a few eggs, and everyone could use some extra energy.
Chrmejenkins sitting was next to her, reciting:
“I am sure she remembers
the long-gone mornings
when our only belongings
were the dying-fire embers,
how precious, and gracious…
OUCH!!!” Chrmejenkins turned around, bristling.
Whose boot is this?” demanded the fuming poet.
“Oh, sorry Bard, must have dropped it by accident” offered Moyank innocently, from across the camp.

The mounds of ash were shaking, sending wisps of smoke in every direction,
One by one, the companions started converging towards the source of the heavenly smell coming out of QueenofSpades’ pots.
“Better give it a move, ma’am, or there will be nothing left.” Techgod yelled.
Scepticalscribe got up, dusting of the ashes from her overcoat. She moved towards the center of the group, but then remembered something and doubled back.
A small pile of ashes was sitting right next to the imprint of where her body had been. She reached out and took the small metallic object, sweeping away the ash with the back of her hand.
“Holy Terris!” she exclaimed, transfixed. And she lifted it for everyone to see.
The ash had stuck to the polished metal surface only in some places, in finely detailed patterns.
“Lord Ruler be cursed!” said Plutonius, his jaw dropping “it IS a bloody map after all”.

Everyone rushed around Scepticalscribe, to look at the shapes and words that were traced by the fine ash lines.
Everyone but tomorrow, who had not moved at all, a grey ashen mound, barely distinguishable from its surroundings.

Tomorrow, loyal to the rebel cause, is Dead.
It is now Day 3
The new deadline is Monday, may 12 at 6pm EST
14 players remain, Majority is 8.

Why the hell would Tomorrow be killed off? Can a part-seer be in the WW team? Tomorrow could have been dangerous special?

Because if not they should aim to take the most cleared players not ones that are suspected.

I call bad move on the WW's part and I am getting certain that it is newbies playing it.

It sounds like you are upset that you are listed on the red list :D. But seriously, give us your list if you think it's better and post why you shouldn't be on the red list. All the players on the red list did not vote for Touch. Voting to try to save Sythas is meaningless unless you voted for a WW. Also activity, though commendable, doesn't clear you or make you less likely to be a WW.

I scanned SouthernDad last night and I don't believe it's a power the Kendra (WW or not) would want.

No idea why Tomorrow was killed but I can't see even a new player going after him.

Sorry, but you're shooting in the wrong direction. I'm effectively a eunuch these days. Or, at least, whatever the noblewoman equivalent is...

EDIT: Also, I'm of the mind that the Kendra is an Inquisitor. There's no other logical explanation, if we believe everyone who has come out with their powers thus far. If not, then whoever that person is really really thought Sythas was a baddie...

wow, im confused now, my thoughts of tomorrow and sythas were both wrong.

southern dad and tomorrow both dead, no clue why. tomorrow wasn't even a target really, and not much of a poster. its like the ww's know something about these guys.

raven.

Agreed.

Curious choice for a WW kill, especially with some suspicion cast on him. Seems so much like a rookie move that a vet may have done it on purpose.

WoodNUFC is still my first choice for the same reason as Pluto. We'll be able to start narrowing down based on the votes and outcome.

We should look at what wood says

It's good enough for me. I'll go with Ravenvii. He's on the most suspicious list and didn't bother to vote last turn.

who'd ya scan and what were the findings.

too me i think its odd he didn't vote but put in his ww duty for night kill?

i voted for him just to see what response i'd get.

Exactly, rick -- I wasn't around during the weekend, so I'd have failed to put in my duty as a WW. So I told Don't panic to 'be a good sport and hold off 'til tomorrow, will ya?'

Oops, right? *nudge, nudge, wink, wink*

I also voted for a teammate -- alpha, infectious teammate at that -- early on, and held on that vote until his demise (and I was around when his end was impending, swashbuckling with the formerly Southern fellow). Worst. WW. Ever, amirite?

And then is put on the top suspects list by... wait for it... the undertaker, who only scans the dead -- and has 'confirmed' that iTouchy was the alpha.

Awww, crap! BUSTED!

Good job, Plutonius!

ive been doubting pluto for two days now, but not really getting anyone to buy it.

if all that was a smoke screen, than there might have been an infection which means no one is safe. and at that point, qos was the only 'clear' one...and would of been a great candidate for infection. i think maybe it would be a good idea to take pluto out, if he turns out to be a rebel, then we know he was telling the truth...and if he turns out to be ww, then we prolly know he infected qos...anyone follow?
