Changing to No Vote to think it out a bit. Which makes the current tally

Ravenvii 1 (plutonius)

Plutonius 2 (ravenvii, techgod)

No Vote 2 (rick snagwell, astroboy)

Haven't voted yet:
Moyank24, QoS, WoodNUFC, Koodauw, Twietee, SS, chrmjenkins, aggie, and abijnk

The same could be said about WoodNUFC.

It was definitely a quick change of direction, which is why I'd love to hear his explanation along with everyone else's take.
It was extremely odd. Wood gave no defense all he said was that he was a skaa and Pluto believed him? I doubt him.

This should be good! :D

Moyank or ravenvii.....who should I vote for? Moyank's crocodile tears for Tomorrow gives her the edge.

Quite convinced there was minimum one baddie hiding conveniently lost in the woods. Killing Pluto wouldn't help us much - only clearing QoS once again.

More curious, and interesting, by the day.

Now, I'll readily confess that I harboured some doubts about Tomorrow, and so, firstly, I am truly sorry to see him killed, and secondly, unfortunately, I seem to have made an error of rather startling proportions in suspecting him in the first place.

For now, my suspicions are firstly on WoodNUFC - his miraculous last minute escape from possible death a short while ago by a timely intervention of the Compression of Time is worth remembering, and secondly, Plutonius, whose volte-face - given how adamant he was that he would vote next for WoodNUFC when posting prolifically yesterday, is a source of some considerable concern.

For now, I'll stay with WoodNUFC, while harbouring reservations, strong ones, about Plutonius in light of his recent actions.

Well that seemed too easy...

Why the switch in philosophy? Thought you were voting for WoodNUFC this round?

No switch in philosophy. I just lied about who I was going to vote for as a test for the WW :D. As I stated earlier, the probability is that both Sythas and WoodNUFU were both innocent and the non-active players are the WW. I'm not against voting for WoodNUFC since it would clear the players that voted for him if he was a WW but after reading through his statements again (I suggest you do), I don't believe that he is. Besides, look at the reaction I got when I voted for Ravenvii :).

if all that was a smoke screen, than there might have been an infection which means no one is safe.

Rick, please read the rules again on infection in this game. There is a zero percent chance of infection since the conditions have never been met. Could everyone else please confirm this with Rick since he obviously doesn't believe the other times I have stated this :).

Honestly, everything you pointed out against me is coincidental, and out of my control. My barge was busy delivering mothers day cards and flowers this weekend, so I haven't been as active as I'd hoped.

For those saying my defense is weak. You're right. But I am loyal to Mscriv and the rebel cause. I am but a guarded man living on the waterways, I don't have anything more than the truth.

And on a personal note, ScepticalScribe, which boatman did you trust to deliver your most precious library? It wasn't Jurg Jurgenson; it was WoodNUFC! "With barge skills you have to see, ship with WoodNUFC." Remember? You enjoyed my promotional coffee mug so much you ordered my promo wine glasses, baseball hats, and mousepad? (I'm not even sure what that is, but you're the scholar in Terris...)

Interesting turn of events.

I think its unwise to vote off Pluto. I know we can make up complex events in which he's the bad guy and it makes sense, but as I learned in the last game, its usually not the case. He's been active, and shares his info.

For now I say lets focus on the quiet ones. Good Morning -aggie-

Well, it's not that extravagant, is it? Pluto gets infected and lies afterwards about touch being
the alpha. Pluto, you may correct me if I'm wrong. I do believe what you said about woodnufc being a coy since I was really surprised about your repeatedly, bold statement yesterday actually.

With that mind I still think others behave way more suspicious. I'm open to vote for raven, mo and maybe aggie today. Although I'd prefer one of the first two.

Argh… How many times do we need to say it. Read the special rules in this game for infection.

There is 0% chance of anyone being infected because the special conditions for infection have not occurred.

morning tally:

plutonius: 2 (ravenvii, techgod)
aggie: 2 (koodauw, ricksnagwell)
ravenvii; 2 (plutonius, aggie)
moyank: 1 (twietee)
woodnUFC :1 (scepticalscribe)

no-vote: 1 (astroboy)

yet to vote: 5 (moyank, quenofspades, woodNUFC, chrmjenkins, abijnk)

NOTE: cast "no-votes" count as actual votes, so if they get majority, nobody gets lynched

is there a plan for the players who havent voted for awhile?

Exactly, rick -- I wasn't around during the weekend, so I'd have failed to put in my duty as a WW. So I told Don't panic to 'be a good sport and hold off 'til tomorrow, will ya?'

Oops, right? *nudge, nudge, wink, wink*

I also voted for a teammate -- alpha, infectious teammate at that -- early on, and held on that vote until his demise (and I was around when his end was impending, swashbuckling with the formerly Southern fellow). Worst. WW. Ever, amirite?

And then is put on the top suspects list by... wait for it... the undertaker, who only scans the dead -- and has 'confirmed' that iTouchy was the alpha.

Awww, crap! BUSTED!

Good job, Plutonius!

You don't get off the hook with one post :D. If you are not a WW and you are sure I am, it's up to you to start posting and convince people I'm a WW.

is there a plan for the players who havent voted for awhile?

it depends.
everyone voted on day 1.
On day 2, there were only 4 people who did not vote, and one of them is now defunct.
in addition, a) the deadline was shortened, so they might have voted if it went to astroboy's extended deadline and b) it was a weekend which is always slow.
plus some of the people who did not vote did participate.

i encourage everyone to vote and participate, it is the most essential part of the game, and there might be repercussions if someone goes MIA for an extended period of time, but I will be flexible with it.
that said, i appreciate the more prolific participants, and especially enjoy the posts that are "in character", as it all adds to the games

As much as I love Tomorrow, I wasn't lamenting the loss as much as I was questioning the choice to kill him. Whenever I'm a baddie I tend to let the guys who have some suspicion against them stick around for as long as possible.

Killing Pluto would also confirm that the Alpha is most likely dead. At this point, it looks like there's a camp who thinks he's lying about the whole thing.

so you think we should go ahead and do that?

Who is 'we' and why are you yelling at me?
But let's have look at the rules together then:

basically, the initiation is like the infection, but it has to be planned at night, it need a simultaneous successful kill and an unprotected subject. the new inquisitor will have double special power

In #294 Don't Panic stated that Southern Dad was killed at night = successful kill. We can't know who was protected that night. In #296 You outed yourself as the Undertaker and revealed iTouch as the alpha. Please explain to me how you couldn't have been infected before when iTouch actually wasn't the alpha but only the regular WW with you making things up?

And maybe you missed the part that I was neither voting for you nor promoted doing so.

As much as I love Tomorrow
