...but you got me curious, what was the mysterious activity (i assume you wouldn't be twittering about slaughtering innocent villagers with your bare paws, even ones you wanted to lynch)?

I suppose it won't hurt to say it in the public forums but it was our 4th anniversary. e took the day off and we went with our new tradition of finding something to buy together. (in Camden Market)

Happy anniversary Blue. Camden looks like kind of like some neighbourhoods in NYC.. all the little shops hawking their wares and stuff.

I hope your day together was great :)

offense as best defense, uh?
always a good strategy. in this case it might work too, since i was going to vote for you but i'll divert to mscriv to avoid to seem retaliatory, at least for now

But in voting for mscriv you increase the chance that he'll get lynched and we lose another villager. A vote for me is a wasted voted as I won't get lynched. And trying not to act in a retaliatory fashion strengthens my convictions - you smell wolfie!

No help from the Priest again? Hrmph.

I'm hesitant to vote for mscriv due to his analytical abilities as a player for the good side... his inactivity is a little disconcerting, and it seems like if he doesn't speak up soon, that we may lose him regardless due to the new inactivity rule.

I think I'm going to vote for Don't panic, as his vote for mscriv just seems like piling on. I vote for Don't panic with a similar amount of hesitancy that kept me from voting for mscriv, so if he turns out to be good, we will miss his input to the game... but in this case, mscriv's silence (at least temporarily I hope) is not giving me the opportunity to get a read on him one way or the other. Don't panic's vote just struck me somehow... can't place my finger on exactly what.

no, the vote for mscriv is primarily a defensive vote, but it is justified by him not voting last round and being somewhat vacant this round as well. although he does not post a lot, this could also make a good cover.
i most certainly don't have a strong case against him (and i am not claiming i am smelling him being a baddie, but since i know i am not a baddie and i don't know about mscriv for sure, i'd rather lose him than myself.

voting for you would have been more rational since you did try to convince people to switch votes away from mexbearpig based on the not very logical concept that he must be the priest since he wasn't posting.
but as you said, voting for you right now would be a waste of a vote, so i am not doing that unless there is some momentum to it, in which case i might join in.

on the other hand your accusations of ma are only based on your hunches and perceptions and are possibly rooted in the fact that i mentioned you as a suspect earlier.
plus of course on your highly developed sense of smell ;)

edit: it was a reply to jimN post, above stonyC one, but it also applies in part to stonyC objection.

Alright I haven't seen mscriv since Dec 7th at 2:00PM that means that he has been inactive for 58 hours so far... he is still with in the 80 hours to be kept alive.

T - 21:40 hours

The below post was my last activity: Post #338 December 8th 4:28 PM.

What do you mean? Are you crossing your legs?

That means I was only absent yesterday... conspiracy

I apologize that my absence has ruffled so many feathers. I was out because my wife and I refinanced our mortgage and the closing was yesterday. So we spent half of the day doing that and then I was catching up at the office to cover being out during the morning.

For Nathan, I'm sorry I haven't produced much analysis as of yet. We've only had one vote and one killing so far. I've got some theories, but at this point nothing worth revealing. Additionally, it seems when I'm overly vocal it just gets me killed. Heck, last game Stonyc took me out day one before I could even really do anything. I appreciate iBlue's compliment about my gameplay and to answer Plutonius's question, she's a happily married woman sir! While she and her husband were away celebrating their anniversary I was asked to house sit, so any coming and going you may have seen was me simply fulfilling my obligations while they were away.

I hope this answers any questions or suspicions that my fellow villagers may have.

Okay, thanks for further explanation.

I retract my vote for Don't panic, and instead vote for ravenvii... for someone so active and erratic in the last round, I'm a little thrown that he hasn't voted yet this round and isn't his usual erratic self... although, I suppose that since he is acting differently this round, that would be erratic?

Meh, confused.

It really is difficult to pin down anyone at this point. I was hoping overnight we would hear from the priest to narrow down this vote a little. Or maybe the seer, or the undertaker, or the village pyschic.

I can also agree with stonyc about ravenii. He did seem a lot more active the last round, but as we have seen life does seem to get in the way sometimes.

Here's hoping the Priest shows himself and decides to help a village out!

I am going to vote for Plutonius my reasoning is he seems like he is trying to be way to agreeable with everyone and a little jumpy.

His first vote for Mex to me does not clear his name because it could be a way of hiding. Just it started a mob vote and at that point nothing could be done.
Just his agreeing and playing nice does not sit well with me so I am going to vote for him.

I am going to be at a holiday work party for the next few hours but I will check in every so often on my iPhone.

You are just mad because I mentioned Melrose's goat Rodimus :p .

Actually, if you look at all my post before Mexbearpig's vote, I never wavered from vote for Mexbearpig. The votes were pretty even and I could have easily gone along with "Don't Panic" and Stonyc and swung the vote to Renewed. I also was very active in posting during the voting and could have easily changed my vote before it became a foregone conclusion.

This is the second day you have gone after me first. It makes me wonder if you are hiding anything. I have to warn you that I have a copy of Philbeeney's pillow that I will use if you try to attack me :).

Note: I'm not afraid to post, vote, or kick over ant hills. Rodimus, if you don't like my play style, then good :D .

Congrats on the refinancing and nice reply. I'm withdrawing my vote from mscriv.

kicking ant hills is not cool.

It's metaphorically :).

that's not what appleguy told me.

he said he saw you last week approaching a large pine-needle ant-hill in the forest and blow it out with a roundabout kick.
he was going to tell everyone on sunday at the cabbage festival.
and now he's dead. talk about coincidences....

Well that was the only time in the last week but can you blame me ? I was trying to take a relaxful mid day nap under a tree and the ants kept biting me in the butt. You should have seen those suckers fly :D.

@Don't panic it was all in jest. Don't worry I enjoy your posts.

Plutonius Is overly chatty while not giving anything useful. He has constantly been choosing people that are inactive or don't post much which has raised my suspiciouns of him. I would post more but i hate posting on iPhone :(

I have a strange feeling about Don't panic as well.

I said from before the game started that I was going to target people that are inactive and don't post much. Last simple game, I got very frustrated over the lack of posting so I let everyone know I was targeting inactive players. I also like to post and you can call it chatty if you wish. If you don't like my play style either, there's not much I can do. I'm going to continue to vote, chat, etc. until the village decides it no longer needs me.

As far as not giving anything useful, are you actually reading my post ? In my narrative where I'm talking with Philbeeney after the first day, I go into detail on the different possibilities on who is the second WW. Many of the other players have also gone into great detail including "Don't Panic" and Stoneyc. I don't see you giving any great analysis of the WW invasion and I know you are capable of it. People might start to wonder why you are targeting the people who are actually trying to analyze the data ?

The bottom line is that I was the one who targeted Mexbearpig and you would have never gotten him the first day except for me. I know it was dumb luck to have the WW be the inactive player but nailing Mexbearpig still happened because I voted for him and pushed the issue.

Hmmm... Doesn't seem to be much going on, that 5ft. blizzard must be keeping everyone hunkered down inside by the fireplace.
