I don't feel that there's enough evidence for Ravenvii yet.

I haven't posted much both because it's the middle of finals week (I'll be done tonight! :D) and because there hasn't been much to discuss. Almost every vote this game has been either entirely random or a vote for those who don't post as often as others.

I may only have an hour or two left before I'm lynched, but at least it won't be a huge loss for the village.

Jav, Could you tell us if the priest knows he's a priest ? We are all playing under the assumption that everyone knows their roles.
That, and are people going to get offed for inactivity, or if they'll be granted a one-time amnesty and we can continue to play as normal. :)

Okay everyone. Here we go...

Let's get this game moving. I'm going to admit that I'm the...

No that's not right. I'm the...

ooh, that's a terrible picture of me. It's not my best side. ;)

So, many of you may be ticked at your priest right now, but that's okay I forgive you. :D

I've chosen to hide thus far so as to play the priest role a little bit differently and to gather more information about those who are playing the game. You know the role can be used for more than just limiting the voting on day one. I also figured I might be an early target. Hopefully I was correct and the WW's wasted an attack on me last night. The best case scenario would be the mexbearpig tried to infect me on day one, but that could be too much to hope for.

Well based on watching how people have played thus far, paying specific attention to both those who volunteered to be in a prayer and those who kept asking the priest to pray I've come to the following list of players.

Nathan Muir
Plutonius
Stonyc
Rodimus Prime
jimN
moyank24

I believe these players are not baddie's based on their interaction thus far. The only monkey wrench could be if one of them has been recently turned by the vampire.

So, with that being said:

*stoops to knees and raises both arms toward heaven*

With humility I call upon the gods to grant favor to our lowely village during these dark times and to let your voice be heard. As a faithful worshipper, please reveal to me your truth and answer my prayer. Our village is being plagued by an indescribable evil. Is one of these evil minions to be found amongst our own? Could it be that Nathan Muir, Plutonius, Stonyc, Rodimus Prime, jimN or moyank24 are not the friends we've come to know and love, but actually a werewolf or vampire seeking to destroy us all? Gracious gods of our realm, it is with a heavy heart that I ask, is there an evil minion amongst these six listed villagers?

I will join in the prayer.

And yes, your laying low was quite annoying... but I'm glad you did step forward and have started the question.

Oh mscriv, you butthead! What did you wait THIS long for? :p

I would be happy to get behind the prayer BUT I think that is a slightly oversized list I'd rather see narrowed down, at least by a couple. Being as history indicates that almost every name on it dies by lynching, more often innocently, do you think it can be decrease a little so we have a better idea where to aim? Any of those names you suspect more or less than the others? </thought>

mscriv, I think your list is too long. If you get a yes (and you probably will), you could potentially spend 4-5 nights going through the list just to get one bad guy, assuming the seer doesn't assist.

What if I take two names off the list and put you on it iBlue? Would you support it then?

Edit: Here's the thing people, I'm going with my analysis and my gut. I could be off. For now I'll let the prayer stand and wait on iBlue's response to my question. If one more person joins the this prayer it will stand. If no one else supports it then maybe a hunter will protect me tonight and we can make some changes tomorrow. It says a lot about stonyc supporting the prayer though he is on the list.

HARK, a loaded question! Not really sure what to say to that. I wouldn't particularly like to see my name on there but this isn't because I'm a murderous looney, it's because all the names on the list tend to die by lynching, innocent or not. I'd like to stick around. I suspect some of the same people but it would be nice to have a hit rather than a lot of shots in the dark, you know? My point was more to narrow it down.

I will still officially support it as it is but if you amend it to take names off, even better. I'm going offline soon because it's evening in London and I'd rather see the prayer go through even oversized than not at all.

IMO, I think five might be good. Four seems too small while six seems like too many.

:p I'm anal, I know.

I chose those six because I believe them to be innocent, not because I suspect one of them to be a baddie. I'm trying the "clear some folks" approach that has been discussed and yes I used a larger list than suggested because I don't see it as random like a prayer on day one would be. The names I've listed have actively campaigned for a prayer and expressed frustration at the priest not coming out. Some even volunteered to be on the list. I don't see a wolf or vamp volunteering for the list and with the prayer being held off until day three I don't see them pushing for it to happen either. If I was a baddie I would be quiet about the prayer and just see what happens. I could be off here, but that's just where I am right now.

Alright, you've usually got good intuition in these games.

I join the prayer.

I mis-read your wording. Your number, although ambitious, would really pay off if you get a no.

I'll join the prayer too before I die.

^^^ Thank you sirs. Now to see what happens. At this point we have 16 players. If I'm correct then we've cleared 7 players (myself included), 3 will be out for inactivity, and 1 will be lynched. The new suspect list will be down to 5 players. Oh, and it'd be great if a hunter wanted to save me tonight as I'll probably be a prime target.

Not at all. I think most people were just worried that the priest didn't even know he was the priest.
I was mostly concerned that the Priest was idle, and when I saw the last night's narrative, I figured... crap, we're going to lose the Priest and get nothing out of it.
