Official statement from the gods:

The Rodimus lynching will be addressed at the end of the game. The reasons lay in the fact that some background information (it affects everyone) was to come first before why. The issue is not ignored.

I'm going to vote iBlue. After pointing out the Priest's list was too long, she was given the opportunity to shorten it with her inclusion. She declined and the list turned out pretty useless, especially for those of us goodies who were on it.

This blows. 3 more gone now. Votes are getting increasingly important and should be cast carefully. Before anyone gets near majority we should hear out whoever that person may be before sealing their fate. That's been a big mistake in the past. No big rush to mob vote for those who actually care about the result.

I wanted fewer names on it myself (and adding my name wouldn't have subtracted any numbers, IIRC) and I explained my reasons for not jumping at the chance at that time. This is a pretty weak excuse to vote for me, especially the priest could have put my name in or omitted names or done whatever he pleased with that prayer.

While I still really have that uncertain feeling about ravenvii, this flippant vote of yours is pretty suspect to me as well, making me wonder why I shouldn't vote for you. If you really are one of the good ones I suggest you retract your vote for me and work with, not against the few good people the village has left.

I'll try to keep an eye on this thread but it's after 9pm here so I'd prefer to cast my vote when I wake up and haven't been celebrating the holidays. ;)

can't believe we had three taken off us. The inactivity rule is really shafting us.

I'm still not buying moyank24's earnest villager so for me that's where my vote goes for now.

We're down to 7, majority 4 and with 3 baddies in play (a given if vamps and wolves killed last night).

I wouldn't really call it flippant...I gave a reason. Flippant would just be bolding your name with no explanation. He asked if you would be included if he took 2 names off...I understand not wanting to be on a short list of villagers to be lynched...but it was to clear everyone. Had we all been cleared we wouldn't be having this discussion.

I want to work with the villagers and vote a baddie off...so who would you suggest? We just lost 3 and it does no good to lose 1 more.

@JimN...I've never been called earnest so much in my life. In this game it's a tight line. You try and participate and you're called earnest. Had I been quieter, I may have been hiding something. You're darned if you do and darned if you don't. In a game where we have lost 4 due to inactivity, it's a little frustrating to be called earnest for my participation.

Like i said, I'm not a special so there is no way to prove I'm not a baddie. But if i go, it will be 3-3 good/bad, so I would seriously consider your vote.

As I said then, I didn't know his intent was to clear people but either way I said that I thought it was a bad idea to have so many names regardless. That's how he played it though and that is hardly my fault nor indicates I am guilty. I also know that in these games that prayer list is sort of a lynch curse, which is why didn't jump with glee to be on it.

I feel a bit lost myself. I've said over and over (and why) that I suspect ravenvii as an infected WW; -aggie- has stayed well under the radar and is a very shrewd baddie; Melrose is always a suspect :p partially because he never has much to say ; JimN is possible but I'm not risking it with someone I believe to be a hunter; stonyc could be an infected undertaker but he doesn't seem to be playing in the same way he tends to as a baddie. You, moyank, I just don't know that well yet so I'm not sure what to think. I do know you're making a mistake with your vote for me, which makes me wary. I'm sure the baddies are loving this.

Because it's getting late here and I'm tired of faffing around with this thread I'm placing a tentative vote for you for all this (and partially defensively) but I may well change it in the morning if I find you gave me the benefit of the doubt. Moyank24

Like I said, saying no to being on a list which is meant to clear is a bit suspicious. Right now, that's all I have. And at this point it has to be defensive for me as well. I KNOW I'm not a baddie...that's the only thing I'm sure of. If I change my vote and you don't, I'll go, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I meant to say that 7 villagers remain. So that means majority is 4 not 5. Moyank24 has 3 votes, one more and, well, she is a goner.

Ouch! Well, like I said earlier, even more of a reason for any good guys who voted for me to reconsider...you lynch 1 more villager and you're down to 3 goods and 3 bads...and pretty much it's over for the village.

She's right. We gotta withdraw and consider this one.

I'll just like to remind everyone, there is a clock, and it ticks. So thinking should be done fast.;)

I have to say I have really enjoyed this game (aside from my screw ups). Now I know the feeling ravenvii had when he saw everyone turn on everyone and wack each other.

'tis been lots of fun.:D

Alas, I almost made a fatal mistake. I saw the vote count at 4 votes prior to ravenvii rescinding his vote. Hence, moyank24 was locked at 4 votes majority needed. (4/7)

I do feel others will want moyank24's head regardless. Hence I am in a cross road. moyank24's lynch majority was reached with a bad expectation (I originally assumed 8 players remained thus 5 was needed, when she reached 4); however, I corrected that to the right amount of votes.

Once corrected moyank24 became locked in by the rules. Thus she is in row to the gallows, regardless of ravenvii's chance to omit.

As game master I am bounded to kill her, but as person screw ups happen (like many of mine which I have let too strongly influence the game; I feel I failed in this game).

So now I have to decide what to do. I'll decide by tomorrow morning (around 9AM Central) and hopefully will be able to get online to post either a carry on or a narrative. It is not a light decision and I need time to think about it.

It's just painful to see my name bolded SO many times! :D

I was hoping for some more time, but I'll take my lynching with my head held high if I have to.

I'd like to withdraw my vote as well. In hindsight, I think the two vamps are ganging up to either get rid of a WW or villager.

I think the voting might have been influenced by what was stated as the majority at the time. I'd recommend re-voting.

Well I'm oddly relieved there's been a technicality because I cast my vote reluctantly and defensively last night at 11pm when I wasn't up for battling in this thread. The main reason I had for voting moyank24 is that she was voting for me and if she's innocent, that's a mistake. After reading the rest of this, I don't suspect her nearly as much as I suspect ravenvii (as ever :p) -aggie- and of course, Melrose. :D I didn't really want to send her to the gallows but if it was her or me the choice is obvious, and I think she was in a similar tough spot.

So I'm FOR a re-vote (hopefully at a time I can actually be around for it, damn time zones) but I hope moyank can give me the benefit of the doubt if I do the same because us going at each other plays perfectly into the wrong hands. Want to hug it out, mo? (though that may excite the boys almost as much as a girl-fight.)

Interesting that you should write this as at the time I placed my vote (the second vote for Moyank) I clearly stated that majority was 4 with 7 players in the game [post 805]. You made the 4th vote and tipped the scale. Later you withdrew your vote but only after someone else had done so, thus hoping you that you could distance yourself from being a baddie. For me this seems highly suspicious.

For now I remain highly uncertain about moyank24. Her playing style reminds me heavily of mine when I was a wolf last time around. The only thing that's stopping me from using my instakill (and I'm really keen to finally give this a go) is that if I am wrong (and I'm prepared to accept that I could be), that will leave us with a 50-50 split and hence game over (as baddies overpower goodies when numbers are balanced) and I don't want to be the one to end this game for everyone on a hunch (albeit a strong one).

Given we may still have a seer in play any new information would be very helpful and you would of course be protected tonight (we should be able to wrap this up in the next 2 lynchings with any luck).

I'll certainly withdraw my vote if Jav decides that I can play on. It's tough being on the chopping block with no way to prove that you aren't a bad guy.

I'm all for hugging it out! :D

@JimN I really urge you not to get to trigger happy with the instakill. Your instincts on it are spot on. If you aren't 100% sure than save it. I'm still on the chopping block (even if there is a re-vote)...Let the village decide. If they decide to lynch me it may be the villages only saving grace.

Without a seer announcement on a confirmed baddie I daren't use it for fear of ending the game prematurely. That isn't to say that I trust you, just that I won't shoot you with a silver crossbow bolt anytime today!:D
