Query, will this game have exciting narratives as grandiose as your previous games?

I always strive to have interesting narratives. The scope of this game will be rather focused as I'm trying to minimize the involvement of canon characters (though we'll see some). It also helps me keep it to two factions rather than 4 or 5 as the books have.

Depending on the number of people interested, a third faction might be a good thing. Vampires/wolves/villagers type game.

I will do my best to avoid it :) I prefer running two faction games. I think ravenvii did a lot of neat stuff to nuance the roles last game that provided enough scenarios where even a two faction game wasn't straight-forward.

Welcome! I have a high standard with so many GoT fans to please :(

At this rate, we're probably going to get another Traitor and maybe the NW back. How about a Traitor that appears good to 1 MoW scan and a Maester to revive a player? Hmmm.

I knew it was some sort of historic Arthurian style program but that's what happens when you don't have a passing interest in popular TV culture.

I don't have a passing interest in popular tv culture either; I read the books many years ago. It kind of ups the ante for chrmjenkins as I will be comparing his narration to the books vs the drivel that passes for tv scripts. :D

Wow. What happened? A week ago we were begging for people to join!? lol

Is this full yet?

You're in if you want in.

This happened. I invited all of the old regulars that hadn't been banned, left, or turned PMs off. 6 people from those PMs that didn't play last game popped in. And so here we are :)

Which she probably will. When it's more appropriately timed.

If we are going to have 21 (or more) I should probably open it up to a vote. Do people want 2 or 3 factions? I prefer 2, but it can get a little unwieldy with huge rosters. Right now my plan is (at 21) to re-implement the night's watch (and put the specialist role back on them) and add a fifth Traitor that is immune to 1 MoW scan (and can PM from the start).

A good WW/total ratio is usually about 1/4. 5/21 would put us close. Even with adding 2 NW back, we'd be nowhere near an open-source danger scenario.

Twietee, It looks like victim number 2 has arrived :D. You loyalist have no chance :p.

Two factions please. Also, don't add to the number of specialist.

Well, here's a list of how each side would get more powerful.

Loyals
--------
5 more villagers
1 "Faceless Man" who sees all the targets of "good" actions

Traitors
--------
1 more traitor immune to 1 MoW scan
Goth/Bought Man gets an extra scan on night 1
"Kamikaze" can happen twice. (maybe I should add a third *evil*)
