I think you all have hit the nail on the head. This game is about guessing, so if you are killed, it's just the luck of the draw. Now hopefully we can be a cohesive unit going forward.

I've outed myself for a couple of reasons. One, I would prefer SS not scan me tonight in the hopes we might get one of the other suspicious folks. She might only live one more day. Two, I think daybreak might have otherwise seen me garner some votes based on people's suspicious lists where I've seen my name come up a few times, and I don't want us to waste time on that. And finally, we're able to narrow down the suspects a bit further.

My role is somewhat less important than other specials still alive, so I felt like now might be the best time.

Agreed, although it naturally goes easier with that many players 'cleared'. Hindsight: Finding the Sneak will be awful though. Hope you can march along with us a little bit longer woodNUFC.

That said, unless I'm missing sth. those are our prime targets now:

Koodauw, ucfgrad93, comeagain?, Roric and Sythas

Assuming QoS didn't lie and/or the real Maiden(s) would step forward, that the second Maiden, if still alive, is to be found within the already cleared group? Makes more sense this way, since we have minimum 2 baddies within those 5 suspects. Obviously we should wait for night time results, scan and possible kill, but if we're lucky and are able to 'clear' one more of this group and there would be even the second Handmaiden hidden, we had only 2/3, possibly even 3/3 (Dirk, Redman, LiW), Traitors left. If then also the Bravosi's still alive it could be already the Endgame for the Traitors. But that's the theory mixed with wishful thinking.
Guess what I'm trying to say is that if the second Handmaiden is under those 5 suspects it could be worth outing yourself, too. But I guess that was considered already.

re protection: Also, it could be a possible option to protect one of the 5, openly announced, so we have

a) another cleared person + the Vulture is still alive, we would lose ss and her scan this way, but the Vulture could then go on with 50/50 coin toss(es)

or

b) would lose the Vulture, have a definite Traitor and ss's scan since killing is overridden.

Just saying though, could be an option. What do you think?

Dude, lighten up, will ya? It's a game, and the good guys almost never come out in the end without lynching some of their own. It's nothing personal, just the way the game plays out.

Not once you're dead - it's considered poor form to comment on the game or give up any info, or even suspicion, once you're in the ground.

But you wouldn't be able to tell if WoodNUFC got killed because he protected a Traitor or because he got killed while protecting a Loyal.

I just came upon this because it's very likely we're going to lose him tonight anyway. Since his protection overrides killing I thought it could help. But it doesn't and it was a stupid idea.

like others stated, you made it this far!? imagine DP, whose so good he doesnt get to play more than a day...

Byron hung close to his father. His father had more of a reputation for destroying a roast chicken than for a man, but he still felt safe. Their numbers were drastically fewer than what had started, but his father's personal guard had assured them that they were still safe.

Lysa entered the chamber and yawned while making her way to the chair at the center of the chamber. She took her time sitting down and fussing with her gown. She then looked up at the crowd and rolled her eyes.

One of the men in the crowd took that a chance to address her. "We demand to have answers!" he shouted. His beard was thick and black. They certainly picked the right spokesman. The man scared Byron. He pointed on of his thick arms towards the crowd and it opened up to reveal two men carrying a body, which they set gingerly in the center of the room.

The large man continued, with venom in his voice "Another of our people are dead because of you!" He was now red and shaking. "My son is dead because of you! I demand the head of the person responsible!"

Lysa sat up straight and shot the man a piercing gaze. "He is dead because of the men around you. And only them. I instructed my guards to harm no one. It is because of you that he is dead. The blame is solely on your head."

She flicked her head to get a hair that had fallen across her face. "This is a test. And so far, you have all failed. No one that stands before me deserves my hand. It is because of my generosity and good will that you continue to stay here."

Lysa stood up quickly and turned rapidly, sending her gown swishing as he left the room with each step clicking loudly.

The man was now even redder as he shook rhythmically. Hot tears rolled down his cheeks and spattered on the stone floor.

It is now Day 6 and SilentPanda is dead.

We'll miss the Faceless Panda - and his cool, calm and well-timed observations. His contribution was thoughtful, positive, and absolutely constructive at all times.

Re JimN, and his unfortunate demise, my views are those which have already been well articulated by others.

I was struck by the small number of twilight posts which suggested that I forego a scan of certain individuals with the wider interests of the collective in mind.

Last night I scanned Sythas, even though he suggested that I forego the pleasure. He scanned 'Good Loyal', which, for now at least, leaves him less suspicious than some others.

Also, despite the timing of her very belated post, I thought to take Queen of Spades at her word, although I had deeply contemplated taking a long hard look at her.

Today, my personal recommendation is that we examine ucfgrad93, Koodauw, or Comeagain?

Right. Now I think we should all take a good hard look at the behavior of these five in the last few days and see if anything jumps out at us. We're in a better position, I think, but that could easily change if we're not careful.

So QoS is a handmaiden. I think we can take her at her word for the moment as there has been no break in autopsies we know at least one handmaiden is still alive. It would therefore be unlikely for a traitor to get away with claiming to be a handmaiden. She was on my less suspect unknown list but its nice to have her clear.

An interesting choice of kill. I guess the traitors decided not to play guessing games and instead do away with another target. Although I mourn Panda's death I can't help feeling that keeping our Vulture and MoW longer is more useful. Also with those targets still in their sights, the chances of them activating the Red Man are significantly lower.

With that kill it is still possible for the Maester to come forward today (it is unlikely jimN would have gone to his death without telling us he was Maester if he was).

Here are my current lists roughly grouped most suspicious to least suspicious. Amongst the first 5 names at least 2 have to be traitors (3 are if the Sneak hasn't been scanned)

Unknowns most likely to be a traitor
ucfgrad93, comeagain?, rick snagwell

Unknowns less likely to be a traitor (IMO)
Roric, Koodauw

Scanned clear - could be Sneak
ravenvii, moyank24, Fenris, Sythas

Can't be traitor but could be Bought Man

Claimed to be a special - likely true
QoS

Known not to be a traitor or Bought Man

Handmaidens could be dead already though. Unlikely but possible. We could receive death-infos because of the unactivated BoughtMan.

Don't see the point if the Maester's outing himself - we couldtn't trust him and he can't prove it anyways.
 
My first instinct - simply because of the early night kills - was Koodauw. I'm also a little wary of rick because he agreed with me (which is extremely unusual!) and ucfgrad.

That said, koodauw voted for ucfgrad so if we go after either we may be able to get some valuable intel.

*There will be one night of no autopsies between the death of the handmaidens and The Bought Man taking over.

We haven't missed any autopsies so at least one handmaiden is still alive. Hence unlikely a traitor could get away with claiming to be one as the remaining handmaiden could tell us they weren't - then it would come down to who we believe. TBH we'd probably lynch both to be sure.

Same with the Maester atm - we know the traitors didn't kill the Maester last night since they killed Faceless Panda and I doubt jimN was Maester. He wouldn't have gone to his death without telling us. Therefore Maester is still alive. So if a traitor claimed to be Maester it would be a case of who do we believe. As soon as an unknown gets killed then a traitor could possibly get away with trying to claim to be Maester.
