It is in the rules, vaguely - it says "e) Voting for lynching will close 24 hours after day has started. (Unless stated otherwise.)"

And since I have manipulated the end of the day duration throughout, I assumed everyone was reading the GG posts. Again, I'm sorry aggie if the vagueness upset you, I will amend the rules to be a bit clearer about it if I run a game again. The majority lock thing has been a constant in the last several games we've run, but I do realize some people are new or returning. So, my apologies.

Also, for reference, the last post says specifically:

"It is now DAY FOUR. The day will end at 12:00AM PST, or at majority lock."

I tried to lure you into reading the posts by making you all star actors in our forum adventure play. :);)

Hey, I'm not upset. Anyway, I guess tomorrow didn't see that rule OR he changed his vote that quick (in 3 minutes) to hide giving me the majority lock, since the edit meant nothing.
 
Tomorrow editing his vote post has created a problem. His first vote would have technically created a majority lock on aggie, thereby ending the day. Neither rick nor I was around at the exact moment he did so, and 3 minutes later he changed his vote to Koodauw instead. TechGod then changed his vote to Koodauw, creating 3-2 in favor of Koodauw at deadline.

There is no really fair way to rule on this. So rick and I have agreed to officially vacate all the votes and extend the deadline until 3:00PM EST (Friday).

This is why editing posts instead of just posting again is frowned upon (I thought it was outright against the rules, but when I double checked it isn't), especially with the majority lock in play. Please don't do it - if you change your vote, post again. Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience - we're just trying to be fair (and this is why I hate this aspect of being a GG).

Additionally, I would like to strongly nudge imaketouchtheme to participate in the game and the voting.

ALL VOTES HAVE BEEN VACATED. Deadline has been extended to 3:00PM EST on Friday.

I get that editing posts is generally frowned upon, but deleting posts is an outright no-no. I felt it was better to edit my post and post my reason for doing so. Didn't mean to create a ruckus, and I sincerely didn't realize that my vote for -aggie- (which I did change) was the majority vote at the time I posted it.

All that being said - I changed my vote because it occurred to me that Koodauw may have been infected. I thought -aggie- was innocent. After reading the follow-up posts, it seems to me now even more than before that -aggie- really is innocent. I'm still leaning toward voting for Koodauw, but imaketouchtheme's silence has me concerned; a new player, having been infected, and now on his own as the sole bad guy, and perhaps not quite sure how to play his hand?

I might still be swayed, but at this point I'm about 80% sure -aggie- is innocent. I think it's either Koodauw or imaketouchtheme.
 
I'm not new to this game. You can view my previous threads. ;)

But at the same time it would make very little sense to infect me.

My vote is for aggie due to his extreme defensiveness and statistic probability to be infected.
 
Since the hunter is still alive and Ravenvii wasn't protected, it means

- Inexperienced hunter player.
- Infected hunter (small chance but possible).
- Player who is not involved in the game.
- The hunter did not believe Ravenvii was the seer and was protecting someone else.

or

- Ravenvii was protected the previous turn (possible but doubtful).

The three people who didn't switch from Ravenvii after he announced he was the seer were tomorrow, aggie, and imaketouchtheme. I'm not saying that they were WW at the time but they doubted Ravenvii was the seer.

I would also put Techgod and imaketouchtheme in the inexperienced group and I would put imaketouchtheme in the non-involved group :D. Also, I still thnk that SS would not have infected a new player if there are no other WW.

If people think aggie isn't a WW, I'll change my vote to Koodauw to pick someone on my list least likely to be the hunter.
 
I am not the hunter nor infected.

I would like to see some pressure put on Tomorrow since he has flown under the radar.

Really it can be anyone who was infected. Also pluto can you confirm that SS was the Alpha?

ravenvii did not reveal himself as the seer until late Wednesday night, when I was out at band practice. It was less a refusal on my part to change my vote, and more that I wasn't around between the time he made the reveal and the deadline. I never doubted he was the seer; I just never knew until after the WW's got him.

Aside from my absence Wednesday night, I've been here and posting as much as you have, my friend. :cool:

In the meantime, Touch also voted for ravenvii, and now he's going after aggie - maybe I'm being completely bamboozled, but I still think aggie is innocent; which makes me suspect Touch even more.
