Look, they are just saying the truth. I can't wait for Leopard. The reason Vista is delayed is because they want to copy Leopard so perhaps Leopard will be delayed so Vista can't copy them.

Your predictions on how the keynote will start

My prediction:

- Jobs will start off thanking everyone who's attending the conference.
- He'll then go on to announce the number of registered attendees and state that it's the most ever at a WWDC event.
- He'll go on to talk about the state of Apple Computer, where they have come over the past year with specific comments about the Intel transition
- Perhaps a comment or two about iTunes and the iPod
- Jobs will likely go on to talk about Tiger and OS X
- He'll show a graphic of all the OS X versions and then transition to a slide about Leopard
- Guest speakers from companies such as Adobe and Microsoft will probably show up to comment on their Universal binary progress
- Will then go on to demo Leopard
- We'll see the usual Philip Schiller appearance during the demo
- If Apple does not include virtualization in Leopard, I expect someone for Parallels to demo their product on Leopard.
- Jobs will then announce the PowerMac replacement ... the MacPro
- Announcement of Intel based XServes
- He'll then announce new Cinema Displays
- - One more thing .... I woudn't rule out announcements for updates to the iMac and MacBook Pro to use Core 2 Duo chips (there's a possibility that this could be pushed out to September/October in advance of the holiday shopping season)
- End of Keynote

I guess we know where the smug Mac users get there a**hole-ness from now...

Oh, and I love the fact that Microsoft can't even be bothered to take part in this pathetically childish bashing that Apple tries to do.

What could they possibly say!?

I didn't mean to sound ungrateful - I think it's amusing too... I just wanted a last minute spyshot of the iPhonePodBookPro with integrated iSight and iToaster (you heard it here first!).

Oooh Apple's Japan online store just went offline for updates! I wonder what will be on it when it comes back?

Yeah, Aussie store is down too. "Back within the hour" my arse.

It won't be back online till after the Keynote so give it a good 2-3 hours.

Honestly, it is my belief that most will be dissapointed after wwdc (including myself). Not because of bad products, or a dissapointing leopard, but because were all expecting too much stuff. There is only so much time for a keynote. The odd of seeing anything more than 3intros and leopard are slim. You be the judge on what to expect. HERE is my guess:

1. macpro 2. xserve 3 . displays

and leopard

Yep. I think you are right on target, so I want to be the first to say...wow! that keynote was lame. 2 hours of my time and all we get are the fastest Macs ever and a look into the best OS ever. No iPhoneiCamiPDASupercalifragilisticDuoMonoiPod. I want my money back. Heh heh. (J/K for those of you who don't know how to take a joke.)

Oh and since I bought a MBP in Jan, and fully expect a speedbump across the entire product line today, let me just say, what a rip off. I'm really perturbed I spend all that money and now my machine is obsolete. I need to blame someone...Apple is a big target...I'll blame them. They should never update products except when I'm ready to buy something new. (Again, just joking...I know it can be hard to tell when so many will post things like this with all seriousness).

BTW, I prayed a little prayer for Apple to make us happy today...:) ;)

See you in 2 hours and 41 minutes...

How hard can you really pray until you break it?

In that case everyone, something new IS coming out.

Good good now I can go to bed satisfied.

Wait, no. I should probably stay up to find out what it is.

Just as I was browsing the Apple UK store it went down, with the "We'll be back soon!" message.

It made me smile because I just know there's going to be some cool stuff announced later :)

I've had my Mac since May, and already I've immersed myself fully into the excitement of WWDC :p

My MPB is in for repair at the moment though...

I'm more excited about Leopard than anything else.

Nothing I've seen yet has decent prediction of new features for the OS other than "new finder."

I could care less about hardware right now, I wanna see Apple show some new tricks I can do with a keyboard and mouse.

If you go to bed I'll hunt you down like a dog. Going to bed is for sissies. Stay on target!!
