Unless Apple has implemented some interesting hardware restriction that can tell whether you are using a MBP, it probably means nothing.

An airport express card doesn't discriminate like that.
Someone is just stirring up rumors about new wireless technology built in to an "upgraded" MBP.

For those of you that don't know 5.8GHz is the frequency of WiMax 108Mb/S

the past 24 hours have been the longest in my life. moreso than any christmas eve and birthday combined... i hope they release a mac pro. I am ready to order mine at the end of this week if they do.... maybe even opt for a 30" cinema display too
