You have to realize Steve Jobs is getting pretty old. In case something happens to him during the keynote - a major hiccup or worse - Apple can't show it live.

I am sure you all understand why this is done.

OK, so, I'm in the UK. Its nearly 11pm here. I need to be up at 7am tomorrow morning. Do I go to bed now and get up earlier tomorrow, or do I just stay up a little later now - maybe until 11:30pm - and see what happens? At 10pm, I said I'd wait until 11pm and then go to bed... and I'm still sat here ;-)

I think I need to decide at what point it is 'late enough'!

kind of fun!

This is a blast. I tried to go spoiler-free last year but macrumors had some link issues and I ended going to apples website for the keynote.

Relaxing with a guitar and a bluetooth keyboard has been a great way to spend this anticipation-filled day! :D

Hope the keynote comes soon :apple: :apple: :apple:

Peace.

Mate, you're lucky. At 7am I'll already be one my way to work. And I'm still sitting here.

I'm about to go to bed though :(

Woah, a girl who likes technology!?!

exactly what I was thinking.....

so... let's say... 30 more minutes or something and then "boom"...

apple.com!

Ah, I do love living on the East Coast. Only 6:03 PM here ;)

On the other hand, I have finals to study for. At least I have something to keep me busy.

If the last one was posted 4 hours after the start and it's been 5 hours after the start of this one, it has to be posted any second now, right? :(

It's the summer break now anyway. Even though it is 00:04 around here right now, I'm prepared to stay up until like 5 to watch the keynote.

Reading about what happened afterwards is never as complete or satisfying.

argghh! i cant go to work without knowing whats happend, but im refusing to read it, i want to watch it!! what torture!!

LOL nearly made it. But a certain family member was absolutely desperate to spill the beans so no amount of "I'm just watching Have I Got News on iPlayer, shh" would work  Kind of annoying.

Getting late anyway I suppose, was about ready to give up. They didn't take quite this long last time...
