Couldn't they just get some sort of lead + use the dock connector? Customly of course...for internet.
Would solve any connection problems they ever have...

11:03 am Buy it right on your phone for $4.99. Steve jokes, "If we approve it."

Love that steve has a sense of humor :D

iPhone is shaping up to be full of win.

I am not so sure. It's form over function all over again. Who needs iPhone to be thinner? They could have kept the size and use it for bigger battery but NO they had to be able to claim the thinnest phone on the planet. Sane with display resolution. The reason they went with this particular one was because they had to have 2x resolution increase in each dimension otherwise all existing Apps would be screwed up. From a practical standpoint this high resolution on such a small screen makes no sense.

IOS ? First he steals iPhone from Cisco, now he steals the name of their OS. Good job Steve!

Wonder how much this is going to cost Apple this time.

So, he's been going on for awhile now, I guess we're not going to see a Mac Pro update, again.

What?! THat stuff is very functional. Thinness means it won't push out my purse so bad and it will fit in without me trying to fit it in or fit in a pocket easily. Yes, people like thin phones. That's why the Razor was so popular back in the day. My roommate would never have bought the iphone 3G if it was much thicker, he wanted something to fit in his pocket without being bulky. He will appreciate it being smaller (I do too even though I have a purse and that is more room to store stuff). If nothing else, more room for a keyboard if what I heard was right and there is going to be support for a bluetooth keyboard in the new OS.

And as for being able to support current Apps, how do you not appreciate that?! Do you really want to have to go buy all new apps for your new iphone? You really don't want to be able to use ones you like now on the new one? Seriously?!

GM iOS4 candidate out today? Its not finalized yet? Not much time if they're releasing new iPhone this month...

Yay! ibooks, what I read was right!

SWEEET!

And a better camera (the 3G's camera SUCKS! And it's the first time I've had a phone where I use the camera a lot honestly, I think more cause my previous phones were more just phones. I didn't think it was a big deal when I got the 3G the bad camera, but now I'm really really happy the new one will have a better one. Shoot, even the 3G's was better and I was jealous of that).
