I want to see that iMovie for iPad.

Not so much a camera on the ipad (akward) but an EASY way to transfer iphone data to the ipad.

the current 3GS app does editing but doing so feels very cramped on the iphone screen

Yes, you can also buy an adapter that will allow you to stick the microsim into a normal sim slot as well.

Yeah. A micro-SIM is simply a mini-SIM with less plastic; everything else is identical. Read the Wikipedia article on "SIM".
