iOS 5
- The obvious "improved notifcations"
- iPhone 4 gets an Expose like app switcher
- New API for apps to grab data and files from iCloud; there will be a public shared area for apps to share docs and each app will have it's own private area
- Live updating of icons (think Weather apps)
- Notifications, Events, Email on lock screen
I know this is a stretch, but I really want Apple to take on a more serious role into the world of gaming.

All I care about are better notifications and better lock screen.
We all know a mba refresh is going to happen soon.. do you think they will announce it today?

Lion will be the same buggy piece of crap that every ".0" OS X software has been. The early adopter fanboys will rave and the rest us will have to wait for the inevitable patch that should have been part of the QA process. iCloud will be great alternative backup but foregoing local content in favor of streaming? You've got to be kidding! Smart phones can't even make a decent phone call and the wireless companies are salivating at the thought of an order of magnitude increase in billable data throughput. Although I am an exclusive Mac and Apple user I am actively searching for the company that will take Apple's old title of upstart and challenger of the status quo. Apple has become the pariah that MS was.
This is outrageous!
Apple should be giving everyone free iPods for having to wait in such long lines. Come on, Apple! Don't you care about your customers or are you too busy lining your pockets. I'm done with this company!!!

Well, if new hardware were to be introduced the Apple store would have been down by now.
