No retina on the MBPs. Quite obvious that there wouldn't be. The graphics would be intensive and the battery life to go along with that would be horrendous, particularly for those who use their macs for graphics intensive purposes.

EDIT 1: Hmm... special "Air" with retina possibly?

EDIT 2: Looks like I spoke too soon. Macbook Pro sans optical drive. Then as hell and probably retina display.

EDIT 3: Yes it is.

Any new Macbooks with high quality displays such as IPS? I don´t care for the glass, I just want HQ displays.

Thgere we have it, the new redesigned and retina macbook pro!

Props to apple

Glad they are still updating and keeping the 13" MBP. And that they didn't do anything to it that would make it more expensive (like getting rid of the hard drive for flash storage only or the retina display). Basically, glad they are keeping it and at the same price point and that some rumors of it just being the Air now or some of the rumor updates like retina display or flash only that would make it certain to be more expensive aren't true.

Monster RAM, monster SSD, monster CPU, monster GPU, even the battery is 7 hours, this isn't a notebook, this is an animal.

Dangit, so far from teh internals of the new one, I wish I could afford it, 756 GB of flash drive, up to 16 gb of Ram, fast processor with updated graphics card...

Yeah, no way I'm going to afford that but it definitely would be something I'd drool after (I like them keeping the 13" cause that's a lot more in my affordable range and usually I'd prefer 13" but with light and thin maybe I'd be fine with the 15").

Okay, 15 inch Retina display Macbook Pro, almost as thin as an Air, 2.7Ghz quad core, up to 16GB ram, a Geforce 650 (hopefully at least 1GB), with up to 7 hours battery life. I like to think of myself as all jaded and whatnot, but I have to admit I'm really impressed by that.

My only concerns are how hot it gets, and if you can upgrade the ram yourself or not.
