"Apple is planning to launch a new 13.3-inch MacBook Pro and a new iMac that run on Apple’s own processors instead of Intel chips, TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in a note over the weekend."

I almost hope they do.

I've been becoming increasingly frustrated with MacOS and Mac hardware for the last 7-8 years but it works for me so well it's not worth the effort of switched. I hate my latest Mac (2017 MBP), but I'd still probably buy a new Mac at this point.

Losing x86/x64 compatibility (and the ability to run windows VMs in parallels) is a hard deal-breaker for me. As much as I find it easier to suck it up and stick with Mac, this change will take the choice out of my hands.

No idea how to get to it in a normal way within the TV App (I’ve looked, scrolled, and searched) but if you go to the Apple Events app it says it is rolled into the TV App but... clicking through there takes you into the right bit of the TV App and you can now see a holding graphic scrolling round with some chilled music.

Did that but it was just showing 2019 stuff. It’s all there now though. Must’ve just been a slight delay. Thanks mate.

What is that weird scratching sound in the intro music.. 🤨

All the tiny animoji is a nice touch. Though it looks a bit like a Wii event 🤭

Prepare to be disappointed because Timmy always under-delivers. With his feigned enthusiasm on stage, he is about charismatic as Queen Victoria's death mask.

We are not amused.

But we will be when Timmy starts pretending he has enthusiasm for tech products he doesn't give a damn about. Timmy has no interest in tech products, he enjoys Apple products as much as the CEO of a hardware company enjoys 7/8" bolts. And it shows in everything he does.

But hey, let's get ready for 1 hour and 45 minutes of vapid social justice virtue signalling that actually does no real good, 10 minutes of how awesome last year's services segment was, and 5 minutes of pretending there's something new in their OSes.

I quite like this.

A fairly unsubtle message of the global community, without barriers. Timely.

NP. I saw your response to someone else saying it was there so came out from the globe and still couldn’t see it in any normal route (searching giving the 2019 like you say). Second restart of the Apple TV worked though and it is sitting there towards the top of the TV App... it just works :)

Always a sign of no new hardware when the Apple Store remains up just before WWDC. Still lots of software updates to excite.

Hopefully it’s not another year of the ipad getting all the good stuff and iOS being forgotten about.

You're pretty optimistic. I don't think there is going to be any good stuff this year. I'm just watching to see if they do kill off having useful Macs.

I cannot find the stream in the TV app on my iMac. Cmd+R does not work, searching for WWDC only shows 2019 event and I do not have the old events app. I guess I might have to watch it in Safari...

Which is the opposite of my work experience nowadays. Almost everything I need to use is web based so the platform doesn't matter.

Try Watch Now and scroll down

I usually can’t stomach watching one of these events in real time anymore. So freaking boring. I’ll wait for the summary later or watch any part in detail if it sounds interesting.
