Now.....what about price? Will this move need a price increase as the development costs will be huge on this. Instead of taking chips from intel, Apple is now doing this themselves and that will not come cheap. Will Apple take away some of their margins to swallow some of the costs? I doubt it.....surely price increases in store for these new Apple Silicon Macs.

Who is going to write AAA games for ~10% of the PC market? Apple is out of its mind.

Also the major software who release cross platform software must maintained separate codebase for ARM and Intel. Adobe write ARM/Universal Binary for Mac, while keep maintaining x86 of Windows side.

The point is to increase the market share beyond 10%. Have you been watching?
How are they going to increase their share when they refuse to put any kind of powerful GPU in any of their hardware?

Hopefully Apple pen will come to the mac also. Sounds great this Apple sic to the mac. I think this will work better than the powerPc change.

Showed Parallels with Debian and mentioned Linux several times, but no mention at all of Windows.

Also mentioned two year phase in. That's what they said about the intel swap, but it was just a few months.
