TBH Shadow of the Tomb Raider doesn't look nearly as good in emulation on ARM as it does natively on Apple. That being said, the CPUs they use in the future should be much more powerful than the dev A12Z.

not super tech literate. I just bought a 2020 MBP. What does this switch to Apple Silicon mean for me and others who bought one?

Having access to iPhone and iPad apps on the Mac will actually be pretty neat. Would be neat to pin them as widgets. I would assume their widgets would integrate well on macOS as well?

They never really did in the first place. It'll be nice to have a Netflix app among many others.
