This keynote was very strange with too many speakers and setting changes. I literally forgot most of what was being shown already
I agree.

I'm excited for a lot of the small changes coming, but overall, it wasn't as exciting as what I think most people were hoping. Very incremental.

Nothing on tvOS really... not that it needs a lot, but the superficial part of me wanted new screensavers announced haha

Feels like Apple is just out of ideas at this point.
Seeing how other than Universal Control, the only exciting new features were those that have been Available on Android for a couple years at least? Yeah, Apple seems to be hitting a wall creatively when it comes to Software. Shame given the power they've been packing into their hardware lately.
It's like when I see someone driving a Lambo or OG Hummer in NYC... what's the point of that sort of power if it is thoroughly constrained by the environment you're operating it in?
Sad.

What a racist and genderist comment. Not to mention other ists.

Diversity and inclusivity is the most important criteria for hiring staff. Ability is not the main criteria. 😆

Seriously, I think the real problem, is that no one with possibly the exception of Craig, in the upper echelon of Apple are that excited about tech. It’s just a high paid job for them, however hard they try to pretend to be excited.

With Steve Jobs, his excitement was so strong and obvious, it was almost tangible.

This exactly. Steve Jobs, Andy Hertzfeld, Bruce Horn, Mike Markkula, Jef Raskin, Bill Atkinson and others of the day were a completely different breed than the bean counters and social justice warriors that are running things now. It is no longer about the products, but about Apple's image.

I also wish the ”developers” keynote was more focused on, you know, developers. But this is the way the WWDC keynote has been going for a number of years. Gotta wait for “State of the Union” for the real stuff.

I feel that way every time I see a Samsung, Sony or Microsoft keynote. Then I'll watch Apple's keynote and realize Apple is STILL ahead of the game. I'm not sure what you expect a company to do with the current software products out already. It's not like they can do some crazy innovations. Do you have any ideas to share that Apple is missing on? Something that all of us could benefit on, not just your personal wants? I would love to hear your innovative ideas.

Seems like Apple had a surplus of M1 chips which would explain why they were used for the iPad. Unless there is some kind of magic hidden under iPadOS it looks like it was all for nothing. I’m underwhelmed, but not entirely surprised.

And there are a lot of angry iPad Pro 2021 buyers right now.
Never buy an iPad based on what could be, but what is...anyone who bought right before WWDC knowing it could be a boom or a bust should realize this. The Widgets and improvements to Multitasking should be welcomed. Also, a lot of under the hood things are saved for platform SotU and Sessions, so people should pay attention to that. The law of anything Files.app related is not encouraging however, as it is usable, but not very powerful. I'm hanging on to my iPad Pro 2017 for at least another year as I don't see anything here that makes me need a newer iPad Pro.

I’m so underwhelmed…. I don’t even want to do the public beta. There wasn’t a thing I want. Tons of features for things you need subscriptions for. Can I do share play with Amazon Music?

If the WWDC keynote isn’t the appropriate place to inform you of what new workouts you can subscribe to with Fitness+ then I don’t know what is
