This event wasn't for you. Developers have good use for this type of event. I wonder if Apple will make a dedicated keynote called World Wide Developer Conference so developers can learn about new functions in Apple's OS's to create and update their apps for. Nah, it'll never take off...
No they didnt. The only somewhat developer focused portion was at the very end, where they wizzed by a callback function with concurrent processes.

good news for older iphones

Reminds me of that Aaron Russo doc, where some guy in the future calls to order a meatlovers pizza, only to be informed by the restaurant that his health insurance will go up if he orders that and would he like to order the salad instead.
Went to the eye doctor a couple weeks ago for a checkup. They pulled up a list of the meds I was on. I was not pleased. May be adding Prozac to the list.

And yet here you are....
Yup, I always hold out hope that a new year will one day bring a revamped iOS and draw me back, but nope, they just add more gimmicky clutter. Apple will never improve if people just mindlessly accept whatever they give them, and why should they? Look at all the money they make? I used to think of the iphone as the Aston Martin of phones, now I feel like it’s a 1997 Chevy Cavalier. I don’t know what is wrong at Apple, all the money in the world, that fancy new spaceship building, an army of supposedly the best minds in tech, and yet this is the best they can do for their cash cow? But hey at least we’ll have a super duper computer chip this fall in the iPhone 13 to power the latest Animoji’s and the lockscreen clock that you can’t see until you tap the screen.

Who else is annoyed there’s no Mac hardware being announced
Why should anyone be annoyed...people buying into the rumors of Mac hardware being announced must have been oblivious to the fact that mini-LED screens are in short supply, component shortages abound, Apple's next CPU just entered production about 5 weeks ago and numerous credible rumors have the 14" and 16" MBP out in the Fall (meaning Late Q3, after back to school)? If anything had been announced, it would have been miracluous. So many forgetting that this is a RUMORS site, not a FACTS site.
