Jony Ive at home:
A British accent makes everything sound fancy. Is it a requirement that you have to be British to be on the Apple Design team?
That’s wildly unrealistic. That is an ESPN property. Expect 3 or 4 of those squares to have ads or Stephen A Smith barking about Georgia football. Is this real life?? LMAO JFC

An arm and a leg.Wonder how much it costs to repair Vision Pro.
What's "pro" about the iPhone Pro? "Pro" hasn't meant anything other than "the expensive model" for apple in a really really long time (if ever!)Agreed but it's not a pro product. Why is Apple calling it that?
Even going to the bathroom sounds fancier when you're going to the loo.A British accent makes everything sound fancy.
If they'd have just called it "short-sightedness" like everyone else does I'd have more sympathy.Myopia is not really niche..unless you consider 50% of the world's population to be a "niche"
This is how CEOs have such influence over the companies they run. Apple do the Keynotes like this because Tim is just not a great speaker or presenter like Steve was. A major announcement like this needs a Steve to wow the audience in real-time and get the audience's reaction. We need Steve on stage using the headset and Facetiming Phil Schiller. It's actually quite sad to see the theatre like this and think back to how keynotes and announcements used to be.
Reminds me of ATT ads from the early 90s about a hypothetical future of tech.Seems like a lot of hypotheticals in this Disney ad. Is there anything actually concrete here that exists that can be tried by the press at this briefing? Or just a bunch of renders showing what might happen?
