my iPhone 7 has also a yellow tint on the Screen. just like on the Picture before.

I posted this in another thread, but try this:
If it's too yellow drag the INTENSITY bar over to about 25%, then pull the HUE slider toward the middle. That should cool it off a bit. When you have too much yellow you want to add more blue and magenta.

Put your 7 next to your 6 for a reference and you should be able to match them.

Just so you know, reference monitors are warmer. This is actually an upgrade to the crappy blue tint from the previous iPhones.

Part of my job is coloring film/video with Resolve. Reference monitors (which are properly calibrated) run at about 5500Kelvin, and consumer screens are around 6500Kelvin. So yeah a properly calibrated reference monitor is a bit warmer than iPhones or laptop screens. If your preference is a cooler screen then Apple has provided a way to tweak it and it's pretty effective.

I got my iPhone 7 today and I also noticed the yellow warmer display color. I will give it a couple of weeks and see if change.

different people, different opinions ;)
Ignore the haters. And waiting won't help. If it's there from the start, it's a reason to exchange it.
Best of luck with Apple, I hope your replacement goes smooth. If your telecom gave you the phone, contact them first probably.

Same issue here https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...uiring-settings-update.1996883/#post-23472831

except I had confirmation this was a firmware QC issue that Apple were aware of and advising recall to store for update.

(Mods, merge thread perhaps - his has better title :) )

It won't go away and if you get a replacement (which seems unlikely they'll let you but let's assume), it'll look the same.

This "issue" is colour temperature plain and simple. There is no defect. There is no problem. You aren't holding it wrong, that's just how it is.

Comparing both my 6s plus screen and my 7 plus screen side by side and my 7 plus def has a yellowish looking screen compared to my crisp white 6s plus. Not sure if it's a defect or not but I'm not liking it especially comparing the 2 side by side.

They might be using more than one Display supplier...

Mine is definitely not Yellow. Even the Galaxy S7 looks yellowish compared to my IP7. (Which i never noticed before i could compare it)

Well if this is true that stinks because I don't like it. I'm def liking my 6s plus crisp white screen compared to the "yellowish tinge" screen of the 7 plus. Why Apple?

So all first batch phones will have this problem?
Apparently yes. I asked if also affects 7+ and they said yes. Also said they couldn't guarantee replacement would be better as don't know how many batches affected yet.

Something to do with the factory display setting (final diagnostic QC checks presumably) being left on, prior to shipping.

It's a different screen. This is also a wide-gamut screen. It's different. Not necessarily better or worse, just different. You'll get used to it; really. Just stop comparing it side-by-side because that is a good way to make sure you keep seeing it.

I hear ya. I just want to make sure that's how it's supposed to look because I've heard people say Apple used 2 different screen suppliers. If that is the case I'd exchange for the "whiter" screen.

I noticed even without my 6 (switched off as I'd swapped SIMs).

Sorry but I won't "get used to it". It's terrible, both the yellowy tint and overall dimness.

There's different, and there's downright inferior. It's a fault, no doubt about it.
