It looks really good!
[doublepost=1474655442][/doublepost]Today I realized our SE is actually yellower than my old 5C, but compared to my 7 the SE is as white as snow.
Too bad the replacement phone Apple is sending me is taking 2 weeks.

Reporting in. :)

I got my ip 7 on release day, I checked at an Apple and BB store in my area today and now mine is less yellow than any of their displayed ones.

Does not match the 6s but much better than before and I can see myself living with it now. My 7 display was never uneven nor has the device exhibited some of the other issues some folks are bringing up.

So maybe give it some time, you still have time remaining to exchange it down the road.

Warmer color temp, especially towards bottom thats how mine looks and its annoying its going back

When you say towards the bottom starting where exactly in the picture? I see the menu bar at the top and the search bar is a cooler temp. But each block of settings looks uniform, am i missing it lol. I have perfect vision and don't wear glasses. Maybe its a good think i don't see it towards the bottom lol.

Tell me where you start to see it via skaleens photo. I have apple care, so instead of trying to exchange it early in the cycle. I could wait a month or so and swap it perhaps. That is if i see what you guys are talking about lol. For sure the screen is warmer than my 6s plus, but the colors are also much more accurate and better to my eyes.

Mine is yellow towards the bottom the picture posted its hard to tell, ever since I had Lasic done I see too much

Look at Skaleen's photo a few posts back. Where do you see towards the bottom it gets yellow, starting at which menu toggle. Starting with the "varslinger" menu thing? His phone is not in english :)

That's where I see it start by "varslinger" but could be the tint when you turn the screen from side to side up down etc

My 7+ is warmer compared to my old 6, which I don't really mind.
What does bother me is that the colour temperature is uneven over the entire screen: cooler on top and noticeably warmer at the bottom. Some may argue that it doesn't affect the performance and it's true. But it is quite annoying browsing through Safari and messages, where the screen is supposed to be white with an even tint.

I'll try to adapt to this but if I can't in a few days, I'll have to exchange it.

My point exactly once you see it you see it your eyes attract to it I don't mind the more warmer screen but it's the uneven LCD panels

I've attached a photo comparing my 256GB 7+ JB to my 6+ SG, but most importantly I have white balance locked at 5500k (Sony A7s, 35mm prime, f/6.3, 1/60 sec, ISO 125).
This *accurately* shows what I see with my own eye (when viewed on a calibrated display), and in my opinion is a truer white than the bluer 6+.

Maybe I'm lucky, but past experience says otherwise.

Looks great honestly that's how it should be

Looks lucky indeed

That's a good one. Mine is similar. Keep it!

In daylight it's very hard to tell the difference between my 6s and 7 but at night it becomes very clear although the uniformity of the screen is superb

The 7 certainly has a warmer look to it but I think it's a bit too warm

I've been coming round to the 7 in the last few days but looking at the 7 screen after using my iPad in the dark it is hard to call them similar at all

My 6s is very close to my iPad air2 and although people may say that the 7 screen is more accurate and closer to a callibrated display......for most people it will always be "warm" and more yellow

I've got another 5 days with it but I may go back to the 6s (although I love the matte Black shell of the 7)

Well that's the thing when I took a picture with my fiancée 6s plus of my 6s plus & 7 plus next to each other. The 6s plus camera didn't do a great job showing off what my eyes see in real time. My screen resembles what your 7 looks like. But via the picture I took via a 6s plus it makes it look far more yellow from what I see.

Good work with that comparison.

Eeeeek, am I a part of yellow-gate? I called apple care and the first step they had me do is upgrade to the newly released 10.002 (hmmmm, interesting). The rep was confident I would see a fix after haha. Nice try! Anyway, this is one of my pics after the update. I'm sure you know which is which. And yes, brightness settings are the same. If anything, I think it looks worse then before the update! I called AppleCare back and they are mailing me a new device. I will just send them back whichever phone is worse. I'm just hoping they don't look the same. If that's the case, I'll either live with it, or try again in a month or two to see if later batches are better.

That's a big difference is color just like mine hmmmmm hope your replacement is better!!!!

This should all be Called Dsiplay Gate why ?

#1. The Dsiplay is Not 25% Brighter (only in direct sunlight) Which is not made clear and was deceptively stated at the KeyNote watch it again.
#2. The IPS display is Notably off White. Eggshell and Compares poorly next to a 6s device.
#3. The iPhone 7 or 7 Plus Do Not have True Tone which was untruthfully circulated on Twitter to explain to off White poor quality Display of the iPhone 7. (True Tone can be turned off)

Lastly if the offwhite Display of the 7 and 7 Plus are in fact better why did Apple hide this fact during the keynote ?
