On the right is my new iPhone 7 after replacement.
It is much better.

The right one looks really blueish: maybe because the one on the left is really yellowish :) But question did you play with Display Accommodations and use any couleur tint? Asking because that's really blueish and never saw any iPhone 7 as is so far. If this is without any color tint settings then congrats you've found a good one.

Correction: The right one looks incredibly accurate, as the settings screen is supposed to be blueish/white. Its not that the phone has blue tint, its that the settings screen is blueish/gray.

I know this has been spoke about a lot in the past but now I'm really upset I had my 7 Plus and had it swapped because it was horrible yellow glow the whites wasn't white even compared it to shop models now my 2nd one came and its the same, this photo is the 7 plus on the left, my mates 6s plus has a lovely white blue ash tint and looks miles better, now I know people say wait for glue but in the past that hasn't helped or my iPad Pro, how can the phone be so yellow, and I know some people will say goto display and put that thing where you change the tone but it doesn't work it doesn't make it neutral, why can't my £920 phone just have a white screen, its all on max brightness and night mode is OFF, its crazy how the new phones have such a horrible screen, even people in the apple shop say I must have ocd but when your looking at your phone every min you want a nice bright screen, my mates 6S Plus Is so much nicer than my 7 Plus its sad
[doublepost=1475699214][/doublepost]I've had enough of this yellow problem my mates 6s plus is so nice and white and mine 7 plus is uneven backlight with yellow tint, horrible, and no night mode is not on
[doublepost=1475699355][/doublepost]how many times shall I return my 7 plus till I get a even white screen, its like lottery, £920 phone should have amazing even screen mines darker to the right and so yellow, iOS 10 is a joke on iPhone 7 plus and now the screen, I give up I love apple but come on

Not sure if you notice, the screen have a completely different color between left half than right half of the screen.

I have exact same problem on my phone and its kinda driving me nuts.

Both phones are standard settings screen.
The picture was taken under the same lighting conditions

My 4th phone is arguably the best. Slightly warmer at the bottom but more even overall. Makes it less noticeable. However, as I said, all four so far have been uneven. I have two more coming in the mail in a week or so. I suspect they'll be the same.

I think it really is THAT much more inexcusable now that it's hit mostly Americans with a subsidy/2 year mentality that these phones really are crazy expensive No matter which way you slice it with payment plans or outright unsubsidized (though the precedent has been set for google to now do the same with pixel, and Samsung always being up there in price too) so flaws are less acceptable to deal with especially right out of the box glaring flaws.

We're now at a point where nexus priced devices (400 range) you're going to be waiting a year and getting second hand.

Thank Jobs for SE, it's awesomeness in general but also comparatively reasonable prices

.. glad to have SE gold and 7+ matte. A power combo! As a side note :3

Got my 7 plus yesterday. After reading this thread, I went to an ATT store tonight and compared mine to a display model. With the exact settings, ( only difference is I'm running the latest software beta version), and 3 of us concluded mine was clearly more yellow. So damn pissed. Especially since the sales guy was a Samsung fan, so he would shut up about it.

Some have claimed after a few days it goes away. I hope that happens before my appointment with Apple on Saturday. Absolutely inexcusable.

Why isn't there a proper color calibration setting in iOS? It would be a very handy feature to have.

They could make it like the Mac OS X version.

Spend nearly $1000 with a **** quality controlled phone? Yea, Seek Help...

Right like you paid 1k in cash . Let's be real here, most of us are in some kind of financing plan and will upgrade in a year. If you do the math you're not paying 1k.

$1000 over the corse of 18 month is still $1000. He's still paying full price for the phone either way.

And in a sense with that whole opportunity cost thing, more, to be making payments on a year old device that has been succeeded and won't be seen with much return once all payments are completed.

Or if you sell your phone and still have payments , that's not a great plan either

If you can swing it, outright all day every day. Well, iPhone day at least. Not every friggin day.

I am paying full cash straight out.

You pay your finance I don't care, and that is still 1k if you can't do the math.

Have any of you yellow screen suffers waited a week before returning? Many of us had the yellowing effect disappear after a week or less of use. Call it what you will but it is not a phenomenon. This was the case for my phone.

Not helpful. Some people demand quality. Others just accept whatever apple gives them even if its a box full of certified crap.

The point is, if that's really how he feels about the product then perhaps stop f***ing buying them and move on to something else. Going through 6 different devices for screen warmness is idiotic.

You would think people would come to senses by now that the 7 is supposed to be slightly warmer. Sure some are worst and leans toward yellow. There is not enough evidence to suggest this is not the case. In the past, there were enough pictures going around that clearly show screens with bluish tints. Not so with the 7. Going through 6 iPhones is just ridiculous. Where do people find the time to even go through all that hassle.

Sure you did. Enjoy the lottery bud.

What's the difference it makes?

The color warm is fine in my opinion, but difference color temperature across the same screen is just unacceptable. Having left side of screen yellow and right side blue is just quality control problem. This is uneven tint, and that is a defect, not a simple warm screen problem anymore.

Lmao you actually took a picture of the receipt. No it doesn't matter. Nice try though that looks like the 6/6s plus 64gb price. The 7 plus 32gb is $869 as far as I know ;).
