Sorry just seeing this. I ordered my phone through T-Mobile. First five of the serial are G0NDNWinner winner chicken dinner. Where did you get the phone may I ask?
Source? Link? Study? Facts?
Oh right, you are just making stuff up.
How can this guy have multiple phones with no issues... either he is extremely lucky or Apple gives him the good units... assuming he is not colourblindThis reviewer mentions the controversy at 8:25:
All of the 11 phones with yellow tint are still yellow. 100%. OLEDs don't "Cool over time". Insane statement, with, as I said, no proof.![]()
Any yellow tint on iPhone 11 Pro Max?
Curious as to those of you who have received your iPhone 11 Pro Max if the screen is warm or cool? With True Tone turned off of course. I had 4 different XS Max phones (various reasons, including warranty replacements) and the screen color temperature/quality was all over the place. I had two...forums.macrumors.com

iPhone 11 pro, yellow screen
So I received my iphone 11 pro space grey today and I clearly have a LG Oled panel. Compared to my Xs max the screen is uneven and the colors doesn’t pop like my xs. The colors also shift a lot more when viewed from the side. Anyone else noticed this?forums.macrumors.com
Do you see anyone complaining about yellow screens on 11s now? No? Because they even out over time. People were complaining when the X came out too.
Don't see anyone complaining about yellow 11s. In fact many are using their 11s as a point of reference as to 12s being yellow. But hey, keep sending phones back for no reason and encouraging others to do so.All of the 11 phones with yellow tint are still yellow. 100%. OLEDs don't "Cool over time". Have you done any RGB balance charts with Calman? Is the green showing up highest there?Use Calman with the ColorChecker workflow, with the OLED spectral correction, then target D65/sRGB. I also do 20% saturation sweeps.
Theres been several yellow 11s posted in this thread. And Xs etc. And your position is absolutely absurd - that you dont see posts on a year old phone that that proves that OLEDs cool over time? Has to be the most illogical leap of logic of all time. You can't even read this thread, and we are supposed to 1) trust that you've searched to see if people are still complaining about 11s, and 2) believe your absurd logic that people not complaining automatically means OELDs as a technology cool in temp over time? Seriously bro???Don't see anyone complaining about yellow 11s. In fact many are using their 11s as a point of reference as to 12s being yellow. I’m on 14.3 b2 right now on both Pro and Max... Will wait to see if this minor update addresses these issues before flashing back.. Thanks for posting this!Anyone on 14.1 try this? Apparently released within the hour. If 14.2.1 isn’t released tomorrow I may downgrade and try it.
This is about the raised blacks and greenish dark grays and flicker issues, NOT about yellow tint.![]()

I don’t have any issues with my screen and I’m on 14.1. Only update that is showing for me is 14.2.Anyone on 14.1 try this? Apparently released within the hour. If 14.2.1 isn’t released tomorrow I may downgrade and try it.
Yeah and that’s the update that should be showing for you. Apple released a new 14.2 update an hour ago solely for iPhone 12’s. It’s still entitled 14.2, but with a different build number than the 14.2 that was released a week ago. If you don’t have any issues than that’s terrific for you. Enjoy.I don’t have any issues with my screen and I’m on 14.1. Only update that is showing for me is 14.2.
Nor will any software update, except one that enables full calibration control. For those of you wondering the new 14.2 does not change anything. If you are on the older build of 14.2 you can update via iTunes/Finder by connecting your iPhone to your computer. I went through the trouble and it does not fix the yellow tint issue.
I was not suggesting it would fix it. I simply was doing a test and reporting the results.Nor will any software update, except one that enables full calibration control.
I feel like I can't emphasize this enough:
THERE WILL BE NO SOFTWARE FIX FOR THIS.
People have been saying apple will fix this via software since 2009. That's 11 years for the mathematically challenged.
