I got mine today. I've been using it for about 8 hours after the restore. My screen is great, no yellow tint. It looks the same as my iPad Pro 9.7. So, for me at least, no issues. I'm very happy with it.

o my 6s. All the 7’s at my Apple store were yellower and dimmer too. Bummer. Keeping my 6s.

You might change your mind when you look at them outdoors. I got 6s plus due to my 7 being too warm(yellowish) but when I compared them outdoors, 7 looked sharper and brighter whereas 6s plus a bit washed out, also 7's camera is better than 6s plus. So I will be going back to 7.

Yeah, no. Really the only time I look at my phone outdoors is to check time and texts. 90% of my screen time is indoors. That's where my screen color matters most. Can you even an iPhone screen outdoors??? :)

FWIW my ip7 plus screen was quite yellow. Took to the store and told them I wanted to exchange. They "claimed" they didn't see it, but it was super obvious to me.

Received my replacement today and no issues. Looks perfect.

I'd suggest exchanging if it bothers you before he return period is over.

I had that nasty yellow tint right out of the box. However, after a day of usage it pretty much went away.

F@#$%!!!!!! Wish I never read these yellowish tint threads. Just got my new phone yesterday. Today I Compared mine to a 7plus display model at an ATT store, and mine was clearly more "yellow" than the display model with the exact settings. Im hoping somehow like yours, mine clears itself up before my appt with Apple on Saturday.

Before I do that should I purchase apple care first?

It's kinda hard to see in photos, but the iP7 is on the left and the iP6s is on the right (both Plus). It seems to get darker as it goes down the screen (and night-mode is off entirely). I read that sometimes it can take a few days to settle? Or should I take it back?

I'd just hate to have to go to the trouble of exchanging with stock the way it is at the moment lol.
[doublepost=1476656376][/doublepost]Absolutely no excuse on these yellow screens as it looks terrible and I've dealt with iphones from yellow tint to washed out colors n no question they get exchanged as they're defective............
[doublepost=1476656636][/doublepost]After all the years of yellow tinted n pink tinted screens n screens with washed out colors undersaturated and or low contrast its about time that these manufacturers build software into these phones so that users can tweak the colors to their liking and it's amazing we still don't have the ability to truly tweak the colors, saturation, and or contrast as it's ridiculous and don't gimme the crap about color adjustment settings inside of accessibility as that isn't the same thing it's not true color adjustment and isn't a real fix for these problems

My iPhone 7 Plus have the same problem, its a bit yellow and i had it for 2 weeks now and it still havent went back to normal as some say.

Copied this from another forum:

"The yellow "tint" people are talking about is the phone following 6500K white point which is the standard which most devices try to follow but never calibrated well enough to achieve. Even when you tweak the colour filter setting the displays native white point is closer to 6500K. It's a more accurate display. I guess people are so use to having blue tint on their uncalibrated TV's and other devices. Give it a chance once you get use to the 6500K standard for white you'll find blue tint annoying."

I notice a bit more of a yellow tint now that I've gotten the device home. Earlier at my office (under white fluorescent lights) I didn't notice it at all.

The yellow tint appears worse at night or in low light.

FWIW I exchanged my iP7+ within a few days of receiving it.

I had a noticeable yellow tint on the bottom third of the display.

Replacement is perfect. No issues at all.

I've had many iPhones (even v1) so I can say with certainty "partial" yellow screens are not normal. The display overall appearing differently could be, but the partial yellow displays are manufacturing inconsistencies.

Encourage anyone who sees this to exchange.

In my experience the yellow tint does get better after a week or so. Still not as good as my iPhone 6S but better than it was and closer to the store display models.

If this is true we can burn in screen with max brightness for hours
[doublepost=1478188911][/doublepost]bigger problem with 7 is that half of the bottom screen looks more yellow.

No need to exchange phones. If you think your phone has a yellow tint you can adjust it with display accomodation.

Here is a quick and dirty comparison of my new iPhone 7 JB left is adjusted with display accomodation.
