Yet More Girl Advice

So, it's been over 24 hours since I first let her know I was sick, and I haven't heard from her, through phone, facebook, or otherwise, and I'm really upset. I'm afraid that she didn't get my message, and is mad at me for "abandoning" her.

Can't these things just go right!? It was going so well, then I had to go get sick, I am so pissed right now.

I'm not trying to look needy, I want to make sure she got my message and make sure she's not mad at me.
 
Well if she is mad time will help her cool down, and that can only help.

If the message didn't go through you can send another soon (within the next 24 hr. period).

Even if you are not needy (which we know you aren't) you will look needy to her if you drop a few messages within 24 hours or so. I have stopped dating girls because of too many messages in too short of a time frame, especially early in the dating relationship.

Assuming she's not mad, why wouldn't she tell me she got my message?

Sick, busy with school work, computer issues, power outages. Depending on what type of message (phone/email/etc.) the message could be misplaced either by electronics or humans.

Because women are unlike us men: she will use that anger when it is better used rather than just calling you and bitching you out. That, and, she may be doing the "I need to call a girl conference" thing.
 
Well, I just wish I could know what happened on her end. Is she mad, is she dissapointed, does she even care?
If she was sick too, she would have called me to let me know, right?
 
You will find out soon, one way or the other. And if she was sick with pneumonia or the like, then I doubt she would call.

I have no clue what time frame you are on (EST here) but if I were you, and in my time zone, I would give her a call tonight provided it is close to 48 hours since the first message.

I am on Eastern Time as well, and still a bit sick (which expalains why I'm not at school).
 
Well you are still sick, so all you have to do is sit and think (basically), so that only adds to the sense of urgency you are feeling. Just wait until a time when she would normally be home from school, but not doing family dinner or the like, and give her a call.

Was it only a cold or flu? I bet she thinks you are a wimp. You could have made the date and she knows it. Anything but on your death bed you could have made it in her eyes. She would be thinking "I am worth it". Scratch that even on your death bed.

So basically your only options is to leave the country never to speak to her, her friends, your family or your friends. I here Africa is nice this time of year. :p

The truth you are going to have to show her you mean it. How you do this is up to you.

I couldn't even stand up for most of the day, how is that supposed to be considered being a wimp? I would have been an idiot to try and go in my condition.
 
Did you need an oxygen mask? No didn't think so.

Like I said. Leave the country and recover the little dignity you have left.
