Nice one you sly'ol fox. Have you got a ring picked out yet? Sorry it's just that reading through this thread makes it sound like you're getting married!

Okay, this thread is a follow-up to my last thread, but I figured the question was different enough to warrent it's own thread. (Mods, please merge if you disagree).

So basically, I've been thinking about this for a while. We were just gonna hang out around at school (our school is open until 5:00), but that sounds kind of boring. I was wondering if it might be appropriate to take her to this great street that I know, they have all kinds of restaurants, cafes, shops, and such. It's a pretty popular place for high school/college students to hang out.

I am rather new to this whole dating thing, so I am unsure what would be appropriate here. Thanks.

If you want to get married, I do work as an amateur matchmaker :)

Worry a bit less - worrying is the worst enemy of all high school relationships.

Chances are, 80% of the times you'll worry, there will be absolutely nothing wrong. :)

I've been trying to get in touch with her but she won't return my calls, or reply to my messages. Is this a bad sign?

depends. You said everything in plural. How many times did you try to contact her?

Well, she was sick the past few days, so I called her yesterday to see how she was doing. I also might have called her Friday, I don't remember.
Basically, I haven't heard from her since Thursday. It seemed like we were on good terms, so I see no reason why she would be ignoring me.
Maybe I'm just overreacting.

ya just relax. Let her contact you. You don't want to be contacting her a million times a day, it will freak her out.

Sorry, I just get really jumpy really easily, especially when it's something that's very important to me.

Right, and you would think employers would have better things to do then go on myspace and try to fire you or find a reason not to hire you.

Curiosity drives people nuts. I am always on Myspace finding stuff for future blacknail :).

My point:

You tell her about MR or she see you surfing it.

She gets curious and looks at your profile.

She looks at your threads started or your posts.

She clicks onto this thread.

need i say more?

Which is why I will not tell her, nor will she see me surfing it. :D Oh, I'm so devilish!

.....unless, of course, she get's it through your website :D
The worst that can happen is she see's you're sincere. The best that can happen is that she is slightly nerdier than even you hoped for. Win/win.

Hmm. Yes I definitaly am sincere. I really like her, obviously I wasn't sure before I met her in person, but now I am sure.

Anyway, I feel like an idiot. The one time I had my phone off, she sends me a text message. I've had my phone off for over 4 hours, and I just turned it on and then there is was, that magical 1 new text message. I asked her if she wanted to try and get together again this week, and that I was free every single day (which isn't 100% true, but that's easy to fix, just gotta blow a few less important people off :D ).]

I must say, this has been the weirdest 2 weeks of my life.
