dplxy, you mentioned in an earlier post that you were going to pm another poster regarding a Canadian distributor. Is there one for Yoobao or should I be ordering through you?
 
im working on getting a Canada distributor
because shipping to CA is kinda expensive
but so far no luck =(

Is the executive model still going to be in PU leather, or will it be real leather like the other one? Thanks!!!
 
I ordered a case from dplxy on 22/6.

He immediately sent a tracking no., this tracking no. has never been updated with any information.

I have communicated with him, and he has answered promptly.

However the goods have not arrived, and when he has contacted the USPS they say the goods are on the way, although their tracking system shows nothing. How can this be?

My questions are, has anyone in the UK received a case from dplxy, and if so how long did it take?

Why don't u email usps and ask for status cause shipment duration is always very subjective.
 
I will do, but as their site shows no tracking information, I guess they won't have any idea.

Well, that didn't work very well, although their "email problem report" allows an international destination, when trying to input details their form does not allow for anyone living outside the US. ie requires zip and state (from dropdown)

The USPS tracking system is notorious for having problems. They claim it is because it isn't meant to be used for tracking, just delivery confirmation. But then they also say that delivery confirmation isn't guaranteed to work outside the USA.

I would give it another 1-1.5 weeks. I've had many packages with USPS delivery confirmation that got delivered without EVER having their status being updated online. Often, the status isn't updated until the package is finally out for delivery. A couple of packages I sent internationally didn't show any tracking info until they got through customs at the destination country. It's really a crapshoot.

Be patient. I would only get worried if the package hasn't shown up around 3 weeks after it was shipped.

This case looks interesting. I've owned an iPad for a month now and still have yet to get a case for it.

Sorry, I haven't read the whole thread. Is version 3 the current one? I saw some auctions on ebay, just stating new version, but not indicating the number. When do you expect to have some cases available to sell dplxy?

A video review would be great. :) I'm very interested in this case,
but also a little reluctant to pull the trigger right away.
Hopefully this doesn't have some design flaw like the original Yoobao case where v2 was released right after some had bought the v1 case.

that's why yoobao is taking their time and make sure everything is ok.
 
Hi dplxy,

I'm new to this forum.

How do I order a Yoobao v2 from you? Or is there going to be v3 soon?
 
Just curious about one thing on the new case that's coming from Yoobao- What holds the left side of the case in place under the iPad when the cover is folded back under it? It has clips in the photos on the top and bottom left corners, but those can't be attached tightly to the iPad, or it couldn't adjust up and down in landscape mode like it shows. I wouldn't like the left edge of the cover flopping up and down every time it's folded back under the iPad. Maybe DPLXY can shed some light on this.
